Bell” Old School Racing… With a New Twist Old School Racing Champion’s Tour is a new racing series involving retired NASCAR and other racing series champion drivers competing in a 10 regular season races and two championship races. The Natural Gas Vehicle: • The Natural Gas Vehicle will be a fully adjustable complete race vehicle, meeting the current safety standards approved by an outside third party. The vehicles will be equally prepared,NOW…. maintained, transported and provided to the drivers by OSRCT. The body style has yet to be determined. THE TWIST!     Page 1 The Villages Motor Racing Fan Club Special Edition Newsletter Hall of Fame—Class of 2017 Inside this issue: Our 2017 Hall of Fame Inductees January 20, 2018—Eleven new members were inducted into The Villages The Class of 2017 1, 3-6 Motor Racing Fan Club’s Hall of Fame in a memorable evening held at La Hacienda Recreation Center in The Villages. And what a great night it was, Bruce Jarvis with roughly 100 members and guests on hand to honor these new inductees 2 Keynote Speaker as they were recognized for their contribution to our club and to the sport of motor racing. Glen Carter Crew 7 Chief Award—2017 Induction of the “Class of 2017” brings the total membership in our Hall of Fame to 147. As has been our custom, Master of Ceremonies Mike Anderson Prediction Row invited attendees at the event to take a close look at the names inscribed on 7 Award the trophy, remarking that they represent a major slice of motorsports history, from NASCAR to NHRA, from stock car racing to sprint car racing, from air- Farewell to the plane racing to sports car racing, and from Monster Trucks to Speedboat, 7 Carters Lawn Mower, and Jetski racing. Shortly after the festivities on January 20, our trophy made its way back to the lobby at National Parts Depot in Ocala, where Scenes From The 8 it will be on display until next year’s induction.
