Padmaja Naidu, daughter of Sarojini Naidu, was the longest serving Governor of a state. with a serving tenure of 11 years in West Bengal. Draupadi Murmu is the first woman governor of Jharkhand. A.K. Kidwai is the longest serving Governor, serving as Governors for Bihar, West Bengal and Haryana. Articles 157 and 158 of the Constitution of India deal with eligibility requirements of a Governor of India. The Third Battle of Panipat was fought in 1761 between the Afghan king Ahmad Shah Abdali and the Marathas in which Ahmad Shah won decisively. ‘Kala Amb' is a memorial built in memory of the soldiers who died in the battlefield of Panipat. It is said that blood of the dead soldiers was mixed with the soil and the fruit of a mango tree became black in color and hence the name "Kala Amb," meaning "Black Mango." Salar Gunj Gate Panipat is also the proud nativity of famous Urdu shayar Maulana Hali.
