The first performance was presented by the Imperial Ballet at the Imperial Bolshoi Kamenny Theater on February 4, 1877. Early in the 20th century, the third act, titled The Kingdom of the Shades was extracted from the full-length work as an independent showpiece, and has remained so to the present day. Kiesha choreographed feature films, “The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” “Sorority Row,” the hit television documentary series “Broadway or Bust” (PBS), and critically acclaimed television series “Outsiders” (WGN). Theatrical credits include Jimmy Awards (Broadway), All Shook Up (North Shore Music Theatre), Jesus Christ Superstar (Kansas City Starlight Theatre), Into the Woods (Arsht Center), Judge Jackie Justice, Ruthless! The Musical, and A Grand Night for Singing (Pittsburgh CLO). Concert dance highlights include Shed (DCDC), Catapult (Dance Kaleidoscope), Alegria (Giordano Dance Chicago), Jolt (Houston Met) and Torque (August Wilson Center Dance Ensemble). Lalama has created three dance theater productions, The Bench, HeartShakes and Bound in Before. Kiesha serves as a Professor in the Point Park University Dance Department. Kiesha is also the Director of Community Engagement for the Pittsburgh CLO. She graduated with an M.F.A. in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College and has her B.A. in Dance from Point Park University. Kiesha is a proud member of SDC. KIKI LUCAS is currently a second-year Assistant Professor of Dance at Point Park University teaching Jazz Technique and Entrepreneurship for the Arts. She is a Point Park University alumna and has been a part of the Point Park International Summer Dance faculty since 2002. In Spring 2020, she was honored to have been the choreographer for Point Park University’s rendition of Pippin alongside director Stephen Sposito. She was the Resident Choreographer of Met Dance Co for eight years as well as a company dancer for 11 seasons in Houston, TX. She recently spent a year in Miami, FL presenting three successful full-length evening performances as the Resident Choreographer of Mosaic Dance Project. Her choreography has been presented at Jacob’s Pillow Inside Out Stage, The Kennedy Center, Met Dance Co, Towson University, San Diego State University, Hawaii Pacific University, Marygrove College, Point Park University, University of Central Oklahoma, The Grier School and recently James Madison University to name a few. Her International Teaching Credits include: Buenos Aires, Argentina; Bogota, Manizales, and Pereira, Colombia; Costa Rica; Panama City, Panama; and Montevideo, Uruguay and Zamora, Mexico. Kiki was interviewed and featured in Dance Teacher Magazine for being a strong force in the freelance teaching world as well as being named one of Houston’s 100 most creative people by the Houston Press. slowdanger - anna thompson and taylor knight are co-founders of performance entity, slowdanger. Together, they fuse sound and movement through contemporary and postmodern dance frameworks, using integrative technology, vocalization, and ontological examination to engage in collaborative work. Performers manifest as a non- binary entity that is one body amassed of multiple bodies in space. slowdanger continuously transforms its shape to adapt to a variety of different containers with the shared intention of providing embodied, visceral experiences for their audiences. slowdanger has been featured in/by Dance Magazine’s ‘25 to Watch’, the Kennedy Center, The MoMA, The Warhol Museum, Springboard Danse Montreal, Usine C, Dance Place and more. They were Creatives in Residence at the Frank-Ratchye STUDIO for Creative Inquiry at CMU and Performers in Residence at the Carnegie Museum of Art in 2019. slowdanger has received support from The Foundation for Contemporary Arts, The Heinz Endowments, The Pittsburgh Foundation, The Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council, the Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation and The Opportunity Fund. SUSAN STOWE Known for her vibrant performance quality, clean balletic lines and arched feet, Ms. Stowe’s 15-year professional career began under the direction of Ted Kivitt at the Milwaukee Ballet Company. Ms. Stowe’s performance career also included Burklyn Ballet Theatre, BalletMet, Ballet Austin, and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. Under the artistic direction of Patricia Wilde, Ms. Stowe performed many of the masterworks choreographed by George Balanchine. Among her most notable performances
