This Tender Enquiry is divided into five parts as follows :- (a) Part I. Contains General Information and instruction for the Bidders about the Tender Enquiry such as the time, place of submission and opening of tenders, validity period of tenders etc. (b) Part II. Contains essential details of the items/services required, such as the Schedule of Requirements (SOR), Technical Specifications, Delivery Period, Mode of Delivery and Consignee Details. (c) Part III. Contains Standard Conditions of Tender Enquiry, which will form part of the Contact with the successful Bidder. (d) Part IV. Contains Special Conditions applicable to this Tender Enquiry and which will also form part of the contract with the successful Bidder. (e) Part V. Contains Evaluation Criteria and Format for Price Bids. 4. This Tender Enquiry is being issued with no financial commitment and the Buyer reserves the right to change or vary any part thereof at any stage. The cost to be indicated for items should be landed cost, cost inclusive of all taxes, levies, freight etc. Octroi exemption certificate will be issued, if applicable. 8. The total cost will be clearly indicated in figures and words. Incomplete bid will be rejected. 9. You have to submit your technical bid and commercial bids on the original tender document (including its Appendices). Photocopy will not be accepted. 10. This tender enquiry is not transferable. 11. Manner of Depositing the Quotations. Online bids will be submitted on website www.eprocure.gov.in by 1300 hrs on Mar 2018 in the following manner:- Cover I (a) Scanned and digital signed copies of the following documents:- (i) EMD. (Original to be deposited prior to end of bid submission time). (ii) Supply Orders received by your firm from any Government agency. (iii) OEM/ authorized dealership certificate with validity period. (iv) Details of Income tax paid by your firm. (v) Correct Address of the firm. (vi) E Mail ID of the firm. (vii) Telephone Number of the firm. (viii) Certificate in case the firm is manufacturing the equipment. (ix) GST, TIN, photocopy of Registration and PAN Number. (x) NEFT Mandatory Form from the Bank. (b) Physical deposition of original EMD and cost of tender will be done in the sealed tender box kept in Training Office, The JAT Regimental Centre, Bareilly prior to bid submission closing date and time as mentioned at Para 1 (g) above. Cover II (a) Commercial bid will be submitted as Cover II online only and will be submitted through the form (all bidders are to download file called BOQ). Vendor will download the BOQ from the website https://eprocure.gov.in/eprocure/app and fill all the details in the fields shown in Green and upload the same. No modification to any field of the BOQ or file name is permissible. Any violation will render the bid invalid. Vendors may refer to the ‘Instructions to Bidders for Online Submission of Bids’ uploaded along with RFP for any clarification and query. Note: After closing time, bids cannot be submitted or withdrawn in any manner. (b) No responsibility will be taken for delay by electronic media/ internet or non delivery/ no receipt of quotations. Quotations sent physically, by FAX or e-mail will not be considered. BOQ may be uploaded any time after start of bidding time, and can also be received any No of times before close of the tender date and time indicated for the online tender. 2 TENDER ENQUIRY NO 1013/TC/ATG DATED MAR 2018 FOR PURCHASE OF FIRING RANGE AUTO SCORING SYSTEM 3. Time and Date for Opening of Bids. Mar 2018 at 1000 hrs. If due to any exigency, the due date i.e. Mar 2018 at 1000 hrs for opening of the Bids is declared a closed holiday, the Bids will be opened on the next working day at the same time or on any other day/ time, as intimated by the authority inviting RFP. 4. Place of Opening of Quotations. TRAINING OFFICE, THE JAT REGIMENTAL CENTRE, BAREILLY for duly filled uploaded bids. The result of the opening of bids will be available online for all Bidders to see. The bidders may depute their representative, duly authorised in writing on their letter heads alongwith identification proofs (Aadhar Card/ PAN Card/ Voter ID Card/ Pass Port only), to attend the opening of quotations on the due date and time. Rates and important commercial/ technical clauses quoted by all quotation will be read out in the presence of the Station Procurement Committee. This event will not be postponed due to non-presence of bidders representative. 5. Two – Bid System. The tenders will be opened in two stages as under:- (a) Cover I. (i) Will have all details/ scanned copies of qualifying documents and conditions. (ii) Procurement Committee will verify and vet all scanned copies and those received physical form. (iii) Procurement Committee will upload all qualified bidders as “Result of Cover I” on the CPP Portal. (b) Cover II. (i) Only those bidders who qualify in Cover I will be eligible for consideration of their commercial bids. (ii) The uploaded BOQs duly filled for consideration of the Procurement Committee of all the bidders who qualify in Cover I will be opened by the Procurement Committee in Cover II. 6. Forwarding of Bids. Only online bids should be uploaded by the bidders as per the enclosed format of Bill of Quantities (BOQs). However, online bids will be accepted subject to the physical submission of documents uploaded in the first cover and scrutiny of the same by a Board of Officers. 7. Clarification Regarding Contents of the Tender Enquiry. A prospective bidder who requires clarification regarding the contents of the bidding documents shall be able to get the clarification from Project Officer, The JAT Regimental Centre, Bareilly till 1000hrs on Mar 2018 8. Modification and Withdrawal of Bids. A bidder may modify or withdraw his online bid after submission as per the facility provided in the CPP Portal, only prior to the date and time prescribed for end of submission of bids. A withdrawal notice may be sent by fax but it should be followed by signed confirmation copy to be sent by post and such signed confirmation should reach the purchaser not later than the deadline for submission of bids. No bid shall be modified after the deadline for submission of bids. No bid may be withdrawn in the interval between the deadline for submission of bids and expiration of the period of bid validity specified. Withdrawal of a bid during this period will result in Bidder’s forfeiture of Earnest Money Deposit (EMD). 9. Clarification Regarding Contents of the Bids. During evaluation and comparison of bids, the Buyer may, at its discretion, ask the bidder for clarification of his bid.

On the night of 13/14 September, the battalion attacked Chabutra feature near Zojila. Havilder Fateh Singh was with a platoon of the lead company. His platoon came under fire from an enemy Browning. He managed to extricate his platoon safely, then was ordered to recover the wounded from other companies that had fallen victim to the same Browning. He was twice wounded but managed to reach his designated point and collected four wounded plus the weapons of 8 soldiers who had been killed. While attempting to return, he was attacked by ~15 enemy. He killed three and managed to bring the wounded plus the rifles of the dead Jats back. For this operation he was awarded an MVC. 1965 There were actually two battles for Dograi fought by 3 Jat, one on September 6, and the other on September 20-22. Won fame in the Battle of Dograi, 1965. Was part of 54th Brigade, 15th Infantry Division, XI Corps. Lt. Col. Desmond Hayde IC-4036 September 6, 1965 MVC. Dograi was targeted because it was the site of one of the 4 bridges across the Icholgil Canal. 3 Jat was to follow on 15th Dogra to take the other side, establish a bridgehead for continuing to offensive to Lahore.
