Dact1 is involved in enhancement of the transcriptional activation of target genes of the Wnt signalling pathway, through its intracellular co-localization with DVL2 and inhibition of the degradation of CTNNB1/beta-catenin. Mice homozygous for mutations in Dact1, display malformations involving the spine, genitourinary system and distal digestive tract, which was traced to disrupted germ-layer morphogenesis at the primitive streak (Suriben et al. 2009). Western Blotting AHP1888 detects a band of approximately 110kDa in mouse uterine tissue References 1. Suriben, R. et al. (2009) Posterior malformations in Dact1 mutant mice arise through misregulated Vangl2 at the primitive streak. Nat Genet. 41 (9): 977-85. Storage Store at +4oC or at -20oC if preferred. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use. Shelf Life 18 months from date of despatch. Acknowledgements This product is for in vitro research use only.
