ENTRY INTO COMPOSITE SECTOR ‘74 Enver Pakiş began putting his custom designed projects into practice and embarked upon contracting and project undertaking by construct- ing manufacturing facilities and residential projects, and thus got acquainted with the composite sector in this process. ESTABLISHMENT OF POLIN 76 Treating composite materials with an innovative viewpoint from design and engineering perspective, he established Polin in order to use composite materials in the construction sector. INNOVATION IN COMPOSITE SECTOR & ENTRY INTO TOURISM SECTOR 76-87 Polin has broken new grounds in composite sector with a visionary and creative perspective, and in automotive, logistics, agriculture, etc. sectors by use of composite materials. Thereafter, it was involved in tourism sector by way of construction of composite roof decoration of a holiday village in Antalya/Turkey. WATER SLIDE MANUFACTURER 89 Polin started mass production in the composite sector. It moved from the workshop to a factory. In this period, it started producing water slides for Europe. BRANDING 92 Polin became a known brand in Europe. GROWTH 95 Polin realized its first “turnkey delivery” aqua park project. It opened its first steel factory in Tuzla/Turkey. TURNKEY DELIVERY GLOBAL PROJECTS 96 It established its first turnkey delivery aqua park abroad in Russia. OPERATION 99 Carrying forward its expertise in design, manufacturing, and installation, Polin moved one step ahead and started operating its own aqua park. NEW FACTORY 02 A second factory was established to meet increasing demands. POOL MANUFACTURING 04 A factory was established in Antalya/Turkey for pool and accessories manufacturing. ENTRY INTO MARINE SECTOR 06 Polin entered into the marine sector by manufacturing motorized yachts in the factory where pool and accessories manufacturing had been established. RESIN TRANSFER MOLDING MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY REFORM IN WATER 06 SLIDES Polin is the world’s pioneer in the advancement and application of resin transfer molding (RTM) technology for the production of water slides in the entertainment sector.
