The Questions of the Grave Mar 16, 2017 The Questions of the Grave- Ihsan ; TheLorem Questions Ipsum Dolor of the Grave MarchSpring 16, 2016 2017 There are levels in Islam: Islam, Iman, and Ihsaan. • From Hujj Wadaa’ – The Prophet said to the men –Ihtawsu with each other. When men meet, they tell each other to be good to your wife, women, etc. Meaning advise each other. You can see the effects the people when the father tells the son and the mother tells the son. • Because she’s in a prison with you=meaning she cannot marry someone else. She’s looking at you for provision, etc. • For example, if a women is at home, does a man always need to be with her? No. Maybe he can go to work or with his friends so that you can listen to class, etc. Men are created to work and women to take care of the house. Because naturally he might interfere too much. But when a man is home, the women has to be home with him and keep him company. Because this is your priority. For fasting, you need to take his permission. Also you need to understand, maybe he will give permission while he has needs because he doesn’t want to stop you from doing a good deed. • Allah says to the men to be with them in goodness except when they commit fahisha mubaiynah – tell them firmly. Then, separation in bed. Then, beating – which is does not leave a mark, not broken bones, not in the face, etc. This is when she did fahisha mubayinah- meaning an apparent sin, something bad. For example, the neighbors know, the parents know, etc. • In Islam, all the rules consider the emotion. Providing for her will make her feel happy. But when she commit fahisha, what will really hurt her? Separate from the bed. Some people abuse this and will sleep in a different room for a petty reason. This separation is a way of reforming her. So it should only be used to make a strong statement. • For example, a mother that always beat her kids will not understand when she will beat them for a grave mistake. Any mistake, big or small is the same reaction so it will not have the same affect. So these things need to be used when you want to make a point. • Fahisha is, for example, he found his wife talking and having a relationship on chat. He should not tell everyone. He should take these means. First to advise her (not tell someone else), then separate beds, then hit without leaving a mark (this is an example of when the Hadith explains the Quran). • If they listen to you--- meaning you are reforming not to punish her or revenge from her, but to reform her to obey Allah. After this discipline, if she obeys, then do not change your treatment with her. For example, do not abandon her. This needs Taqwa because a husband would be really hurt to see his wife talking to another man. • There are rights a husband has on the woman and the wife has on the man. It’s your right upon your wife, ie their duties to you. What is the right of the man on the wife, don’t let anyone who you hate to sit on your house. • What is they’re right upon you? For the men’s right, it didn’t say ihsan. But for the woman, the man needs to do Ihsaan because the man is the caretaker of the women. If you have girls or boys, you do ihsaan to go with the girls more because the boys don’t mind as much. For the men, they don’t need so many things. But Islam special care of the women. 2 ; TheLorem Questions Ipsum Dolor of the Grave MarchSpring 16, 20162017 • How do we know that I am going Ihsan? • The Prophet said, if that’s what your neighbor says. • Don’t make it difficult for your neighbor. The one that’s close to you will know how you really are, any one that company you for example husband, children. May Allah forgive us. • Even if you go to class and memorize and learn. But when you ask the neighbor, they will say, if they go to class, then they will not block my house. Maybe only one car will cause difficulty to the neighbors. • Ask your husband, neighbor, children, servant, if they say that you have ihsan or are good, then you are good. • Will I be accountable for things that I did in Jahiliyah? • If someone is not Muslim and doing sins because he didn’t have knowledge. But still when you are Muslim, you need Islam and Ihsaan. When his past sins will it not accountable against him? If when he enter Islam and try his best, then it will not be accountable what he did in the past. But if he doesn’t try, then he will be accountable of what he did before and after he became Muslim. Before he didn’t have knowledge. But now he has knowledge and that knowledge should change him. If it doesn’t change him, then he will take the sins from before and after. 3 ; TheLorem Questions Ipsum ofDolor the Grave MarchSpring 16, 2016 2017 Types of Writing - Those that make Ihsaan in the wudhu then pray 2 rakahs, facing with your heart and face.
