    Foreword The Daventry District Settlements and Countryside Local Plan (Part 2) is a key document that will help to shape the future of the District. When this document is adopted, it will sit alongside the West Northamptonshire Joint Core Strategy (Adopted 2014) and made Neighbourhood Development Plans. These will collectively be the basis for helping to guide and shape the development and use of land across the District. This document is therefore very important for helping to shape the future of the District. This document is the Proposed Submission Version, which builds on the Issues and Options and Emerging Draft consultations undertaken in early 2016 and late 2017. We are grateful to everyone who responded to those consultations, your views have been taken into account in preparing this plan. This plan is based on a thorough evidence base which is set out on the Council’s website. Further details of the consultation are set out within the document including how you can respond, it is important to note that comments must relate to legal compliance and the tests of soundness and be made on the prescribed response form. The consultation also includes a series of exhibitions taking place in early September which you are encouraged to attend. Following consultation on this document, the Council will then consider the responses received before submitting the plan, the responses and other supporting information. The main issues are: • the effect of the development on the character and appearance of the area; and • whether there is an adequate supply of land for housing in the district and, if not, whether the need for housing land outweighs any harm arising from the development. Reasons Planning policy 3. The development plan comprises the Daventry District Local Plan. Policy GN1 seeks to protect and enhance the environment and severely restrain development in the open countryside. Policy HS22 allows development within restricted infill villages (such as Woodford Halse) provided, amongst other things, the site is within the existing confines of the village. Policy HS24 does not permit residential development in the open countryside other than for the exceptions specified within the policy, which are not applicable in this instance.

The only building present is a single storey brick bungalow and the holding does not benefit from any utilty buildings. 1.03 A Planning Application has been submitted to Daventry District Council for private stables and an agricultural machinery shed to be erected immediately to the north of the dwelling. The stables are to accommodate the aforementioned horses and provide space to house machinery needed to maintain the landholding. 1.04 This Transport Statement relates to equestrian proposals in addition to the above which are the subject of a separate Planning Application. I went on a very good holiday to the vale of Glamorgan, an area I have never been to before, which had some interesting bells and churches and very varied scenery. Back to Easter Saturday and the sponsored walk and cycle ride. It was a beautiful warm sunny day with about 40 people walking and cycling. The cyclists went round Rutland Water with or without the peninsular and the walkers walked round the peninsular. The best part of the walk was the bluebell woods and at one place a whole field full of them. After we had finished the walk we met the cyclists at the Pub at Manton which was packed inside and out with everyone enjoying the lovely weather.

    Admission Policy For applications for admission in the 2019/2020 and following academic years, it will operate with the admission arrangements and admission number of 210 pupils. These can be found in Northamptonshire County Council’s booklet on applying for a secondary school which is available here. The policy for admissions in the 2019/2020 Academy year is set out below. The Academy has an agreed admission number of 210 pupils. After allocating places to children with statements of Special Educational Needs which name the school/Academy, where there are more applications for admission than places available, priority will be given in the following order: 1. 'Looked After Children' and children who were ‘previously Looked After’ but, immediately after being ‘Looked After’ became subject to an adoption, residence, or Special Guardianship Order. 2. Where there will be an older sibling in attendance at the Academy at the date of admission. Sibling refers to brother or sister, half brother or sister, adopted brother or sister, step brother or sister, or the child of the parent or carer’s partner where the children live at the same address. 3. Exceptional social or medical needs. If you believe that your child has exceptional medical or social needs you will need to provide evidence of this from an appropriate professional. The needs must relate to your child and the evidence must detail how the needs of your child can only be met at The Parker E-ACT Academy.
