When asked why recycling had suddenly become a priority, Wheeler cited changes caused in part by Chinese import restric- tions, Waste Dive said.

"I think it's a big priority because it's a prob- lem that we have to solve. And it's really going to take some federal attention to solve it," he told Waste Dive.

Wheeler said he wasn’t talking about new regulations, saying “we don’t have to come up with all the answers.” Rather, Wheeler proposed “creating an atmosphere where people are coming together to help us solve the problems, if we can be a convener, I think that helps the recycling crisis and recycling problem in the country." u

Ecore, a Lancaster, PA- based man- ufacturer of safe, ergonomic, and acoustic performance surfaces for commercial and athletic markets, released updated floor impact sound test data for five surfaces that meet the new American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) E3133 standard. Testing was per- formed by Intertek, an indepen - dent International Accredited Ser- vice -certified lab in York, Pa. The five surfaces tested include con - crete, vinyl composition tile (VCT), luxury vinyl tile (LVT), Ecore Ori- gins, and Ecore Vinyl Rx.
