BLAST Pro Series Madrid in Strategic Partnership with Komodo BLAST Pro Series Madrid 2019 will be the first BLAST event in Spain but far from the last. Mar 12, 2019 14:37 UTC BLAST Pro Series Madrid in strategic partnership with Komodo RFRSH Entertainment and Spanish Komodo has signed a long term strategic partnership around all BLAST Pro Series tournaments and activities in Spain over the coming years. The partnership begins with BLAST Pro Series Madrid that will take place May 10-11 in Madrid Arena and offer a prize pool of 250,000 dollars for six of the best Counter-Strike teams in the world. Komodo is a leader in creation and production of sports and entertainment events and have been involved with major events like the UEFA Champions League Final, the Basketball World Cup, the Madrid Open in tennis and a number of major theatre and musical productions. The parties have joined forces to produce and promote BLAST Pro Series and Komodo has purchased the commercial rights in Spain for the tournament over the coming years. Komodo will help secure the highest production value for the audience and viewers of BLAST Pro Series Madrid. BLAST Pro Series plans to return to Spain repeatedly after its debute in Madrid. El objetivo, por lo tanto, será estudiar ese impacto y analizar si las previsiones del torneo de cara al futuro son positivas. Para poder estudiarlo el trabajo se centrará en variables como el turismo, la generación de impuestos o la creación de trabajo directamente relacionados con el torneo, y se analizarán cuáles han sido las últimas decisiones y los acuerdos llevados a cabo entre la directiva del evento y el Ayuntamiento de Madrid para asegurar el futuro del torneo en la ciudad. Para analizar los datos económicos del torneo el trabajo se centra principalmente en los años 2017 y 2018, ejercicios los que se han podido obtener las fuentes de datos más abundantes y recientes. Los resultados del trabajo demuestran que el Mutua Madrid Open genera un efecto positivo para la economía madrileña con datos muy favorables, tales como el turismo generado durante el torneo y la promoción de la ciudad que este supone a posteriori. A diferencia de otro tipo de eventos deportivos de mayor envergadura, como un Mundial de fútbol, el Mutua Madrid Open se disputa cada año, lo cual ayuda a rentabilizar las inversiones que se realizan en infraestructuras y consigue que cada edición más gente acuda a disfrutar del tenis en Madrid.
