CHART & LOCATION) PARKING STATEMENT: Approximately 108 Nos . of four wheeler, 1218 Nos. of two wheelers & 1218 Nos. cycles are proposed in the residential complex. Internal circulation pattern will be so as to avoid any congestion within the complex. Parking space will be allotted within the campus. (REFER ANNEXURE VI – PARKING AND TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT PLAN) 1.3.What are the likely impacts of the proposed activity on the existing facilities adjacent to the proposed site? (Such as open spaces, community facilities, details of the existing land use and disturbance to the local ecology). Although it is a construction activity, its impact on air quality, water quality, noise and soil will not be notable. As a matter of fact this activity will have positive impact, on socio- economic culture of people residing in the vicinity of the proposed area. There will not be any disturbance to the local ecology as the selected site for the construction is a barren land. The project site and the surrounding area are not developed. The plantations, which would be grown in the residential area, will be helpful in increasing green cover of the area. This would also increase avifauna in the area. 1.4.Will there be any significant land disturbance resulting in erosion, subsidence & instability? (Details of soil type, slope analysis, vulnerability to subsidence, seismicity, etc may be given). Generally, soil types found in Pune district are black, copper, red, & paddy soil. Soil blends of variable properties are modified by sand, gravel, lime salts, & other ingredients. (REFER ANNEXURE III - CONTOUR PLAN) 1.5.Will the proposal involve alteration of natural drainage systems? (Give details on a contour map showing the natural drainage near the proposed project site) Not Applicable (REFER ANNEXURE III - CONTOUR PLAN) 1.6. What are the quantities of earthwork involved in the construction activity cutting, filling, reclamation etc. (Give details of the quantities of earthwork involved, transport of fill materials from outside the site etc.)? Give details regarding water supply, waste handling etc. during the construction period. Total water requirement during construction phase will be approximately 35m3/day for domestic use for the workers working/dwelling on the site. The construction water requirement will be in addition to this. The source will be Tankers. The non biodegradable solid waste will be segregated and will send to kabadi. The wet waste will be treated by “Organic Waste Convertor ”. A septic tank and soak pit will be constructed for temporary shelters of construction workers. The construction debris and cut and fill waste will be recycled for road construction 1.8. Will the low-lying areas & wetlands get altered? (Provide details of how low lying and Wetland are getting modified from the proposed activity) Not Applicable 1.9. Whether construction debris & waste during construction cause health hazard? (Give quantities of various types of wastes generated during construction including the construction labor and the means of disposal) Construction debris and waste during construction will not cause health hazard. The natural depression on site will be lined and converted into water bodies which would add to passive cooling and will act as Rainwater Harvesting devices. Construction debris generated will be used for development of landscape. 2. WATER ENVIRONMENT 2.1. Give the total quantity of water requirement for the proposed project with the breakup of requirements for various uses. How will the water requirement be met? (Provide physical, chemical, biological characteristics with class of water quality) The water will be available from Paud Grampanchayat which will accomplish the water requirement for this residential complex. 2.4. How much of the water requirement can be met from the recycling of treated wastewater? (Give the details of quantities, sources and usage) About 155.70 m3/day of water will be recycled for flushing at residential building & landscaping. 2.5. ABSTRACT This research article aims to find the management of livelihood with the selected case study of Mulshi tahsil in Pune district. There are four villages selected through the purposive sampling method. However, information related to livelihood is collected from the 400 respondents which are selected through the accidental sampling method. Livelihood of the respective villages are purely depends on the agricultural activities. Although these villages are not so far from the Pune City but the development was very poor. The Japanese Cooperation support these villagers to earn the money from milk and allied agriculture activities but their benefits are limited to some class. Education, medical and economic filed in the selected villages are lagging behind the development of villagers. Therefore this study suggests that, there may be urgent attention for proper management of livelihood activities to give them opportunities to develop. Abstract Water is one of the most important compounds in the world. The contamination and pollution of water is of great concern in the world for the developing countries like India. The question of water pollution has acquired a critical stage. Human activities, industries, hospitals, sewage water, agricultural diffused pollution are some of the sources of water pollution. Drinking water quality is one of the important environmental health detriments. Use of safe drinking water is a foundation for the control and prevention of water born diseases. In this work we have analyzed Mula-Mutha river water quality for drinking purpose. Various river water parameters were analyzed and are compared to established standards given by WHO. The river water analysis showed that the river water is not suitable for potable use in city area. River Mula originates from Mulshi Dam which forms Mulshi Lake. River Mutha originates from Panshet Dam Via Khadakwasla Dam. It also flows through city of Pune and meets to river Mula at Shivajinagar area of Pune city, to that part it called as Sangam Bridge.
