ANDERSON’S THREE PACE DENVER IN WIN OVER BILLS

Broncos RB C.J. Anderson totaled a career‐high three touchdowns to go along with 58 yards on 21 carries against the Bills to represent the first Bronco with three rushing scores in a game since RB Knowshon Moreno against Jacksonville on Oct. 13, 2014. He is the 11th different Broncos player to accomplish that feat (15th occurrence). Anderson’s five total touchdowns (4 rush, 1 rec.) during the last three weeks are the most in the NFL during that span.

ROOKIE THOMPSON LEADS BRONCOS IN RUSHING

Denver rookie RB Juwan Thompson led the Broncos with a career‐hiigh 63 yards on just four carries (15.8 avg.), including a season‐long 47 yard run for the club. With his effort tonight, Thompson became the fourth player to lead the Broncos in rushing this season.

The Broncos recorded three takeaways (2 INTs, 1 FF) to represent the first time since December of 2009 the team had back‐to‐back games forcing at least three turnovers… Broncos CB Bradley Roby recorded his second forced of the season in the first quarter to pull into a tie for the team lead in that category… WR Wes Welker led the Broncos with a season‐ high 82 receiving yards on six catches (13.7 avg.)...
