As you can see, once again this year our event will be run as a G.B. Export Show and Sale to facilitate an immediate export of sheep bought for mainland G.B., if so necessary. The N.I. Dorset Club have been actively promoting the Dorset Breed for well over 60 years and encouraging the Dorset breeders to produce a modern, commercially focused, saleable type sheep. In recent times this dedication to quality has seen the trend in the commercial sheep sector move towards the Dorset breed as commercial farmers investigate the true merits of the Dorset breed as they search for profitable prime lamb production to suit their specific needs.
