Mr J Graves – Planning application 2/2016/0330 Suspension of the meeting for members of the public to speak –None present Accounts for payment and discussion:

• Geoff Morgan - £110 grass cutting Reports from outside bodies

Allerdale Borough Council –

• Attended Flood meeting. Spoke to Andrew Harrison re: Dovenby – he has some ideas which may help this. NC to report any updates.

Planning applications

2/2016/0321 Charles Ashton, DC21 Ltd Proposal variation of condition 2 on application. Response: PC’s view on turbines has not changed.

2/2016/0330Mr Stuart Wilson. Proposal erection of a single garage. 8 Hall Court, Tallentire, Cockermouth. Response: No objections Clerks Report & Correspondence

• M Sport – have no replied by email. Northern Developments are looking into this on their behalf, but they think it may take some time to get in place. • AON- £232.75 Renewal was due 25.6.16 now paid – this was an increase of £7.44 from last year. • Ann Bartell – looking for information on the Tallentire name, there are Tallentire’s in Appleby and Rockliffe near Carlise, none known in the village. • Dovenby Phone Box – Was £3k for the electrics need to progress and try to get to the September meeting. Delegated authority passed to clerk, who is able to email any costs relating to this.

Parish Maintenance Road sweepers through Tallentire have eased the grit on the roadside, some of which was from floods and general grit that accumulates. 1st Responders are looking for volunteers in Tallentire/Dovenby and Bridekirk. Proposed that it goes on to the website. Parish Magazine?

Potholes at the entrance to Bridekirk Hall- above sewer, possible sewer collapse?

Update from Flood Group- - No update, but work is continuing. M Sport – nothing other than signage update to report. Cumbria Community Foundation Next applications due in by 30th September. Noted date of next meeting Thursday 14th July 2016 7.30pm Meeting closed at 8.17pm
