Five players had multipoint outings led by Michal Teply’s goal and two assists. Liam Hughes made 18 saves for the win. SCENE SETTER: Tonight’s opener is the first of four meetings between Winnipeg and Brandon this season. In the 2019-20 campaign the teams split eight games, each going 4-4-0-0. The ICE won three of the last four matchups to pull even for the year. Highly-Touted: defenceman Carson Lambos is one of only two East Division “A” prospects listed by NHL Central Scouting in their latest watch list, a rank reserved for players seen as first round candidates.
