NEW YORK PRINCIPAL SINGERS – Come prepared with your best 16 – 32 bars of a ballad and an up- tempo in contrasting styles. Vocal styles should include: Pop/Rock, R&B, Contemporary Musical Theatre/Broadway, and Jazz. Sheet music is required in the proper key. Must have strong acting ability. Singers will be taught a movement combination and should come prepared with proper dance attire. APRIL 27-29 Females should have a vocal range between E3 – C6 with a strong, controlled belt/mix up to an F5. Must also be able to produce sultry alto notes as well as the ability to sing RIPLEY GRIER STUDIOS light and floaty in upper register. Attractive, sophisticated, intelligent, sinister, cruel, cold but charming. VOCAL Galileo’s love interest. A rebel. Deeply introverted and complex. A goth teenager.
