Critics' reception for Disney Dreaming portal positively highlighted the song, saying it starts slowly, but when it comes to life it makes you want to start singing along. A lot of fun. Linrd said the song was catchy and very good, highlighting how Adam Hicks' rap part as the band's most interesting and exciting techo. On June 10, The View was on June 10 to present a performance of a duet featuring actress Hayley Kiyoko playing . On September 16, Bridget performed at dawn in the UK, with the aim of unveiling the soundtrack to the film, which has just been released in the country. On November 3, she sang a track on Disney's So Random. The video clip clip for the song was recorded in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA, on March 25, 2011, and was taken from scenes from the documentary Lemonade Mouth. The film was directed by Patricia Riggen, producers Mathias Alvarez and Debra Martin Chase, known for their work with The Cheetah Girls. The video was released on April 15, 2011 along with the release of the film. The synopsis of the video begins with Bridget Mendler and his band stand on stage for a Halloween dance to sing. Following the context of the Film Lemonade Mouth, from where the scenes were filmed, the singer is frightened by the lights standing in front of her, as she is afraid of the scene. As soon as the band starts performing the song, Bridget begins to sing another scary withdrawal of little attention from the audience, but when he arrives in his electronic part the singer and his band, formed by Adam Hicks, Hayley Kiyoko, and Blake Michael, get self-oooh and manage the cosquistar and cheer the audience, attend the Halloween ball. During the rest of the track, the audience continues to sing and dance together, ending with Adam Hicks on the front stage to sing his rap inside the song alongside Bridget Mendler.
