For Immediate Release Tom Lehman's “Legends of Golf FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE October 25, 2012 Contact: Brendan Anderson Director of Communication Office: 480.348.9191 Ext. 208 Email: [email protected] TOM LEHMAN’S “LEGENDS OF GOLF” EVENT BRINGS TOP PGA CHAMPIONS TOUR GOLFERS FOR INSPIRATIONAL EVENING ON NOVEMBER 3RD Tom Lehman hosts Bernhard Langer and Fred Funk among others for an evening discussing golf, life, and their faith in a free event at Highlands Church Scottsdale, AZ – On the course they are locked in fierce competition, but on Saturday, November 3rd at 7:00pm at Highlands Church in Scottsdale, Tom Lehman, Bernhard Langer, Fred Funk and others will sit down together as friends to discuss their careers in golf and talk about the role faith has played in their lives. This event is free and open to the public, held in the Worship Center of Highlands Church at 9050 E Pinnacle Peak Rd, Scottsdale 85255. The evening will also include music by Highlands Church Senior Pastor Les Hughey. This event will provide a unique opportunity for golf fans to get up-close and personal with top names in golf and go beyond the 30-second soundbytes of television to find out where these players get their focus, perspective and priorities. Tom Lehman said, “It is my belief that the things that are broken in our society mainly stem from well-intentioned people making bad choices. What grid needs to be used to make the right choices? I believe it is the Bible, and choosing to do what is right according to the truth it contains is what I want all people to know. Jesus has the answer to every question.” Bernhard Langer is currently in first place in the PGA’s 2012 Champions Tour with Tom Lehman only 111 points behind in second place. Fred Funk is climbing in the standings after his win at the Greater Hickory Classic on October 14th. AMERICAN FAMILY INSURANCE CHAMPIONSHIP June 1, 2015 Jack Salzwedel Tim Finchem Steve Stricker Barry Alvarez DAVE MARR: Welcome, everyone. I'm David Marr with the Golf Channel. Just wanted to let you all know that the Golf Channel is going to be recording this press conference right here, do some interviews and air it on a pregame show before the NCAA Championships later on today. Our schedule has been moved around and we're very excited with what we're about to have announced here, looking forward not only to this day but also next year and the years to come. Wisconsin golf is something that's been important obviously to the game of golf and to the Golf Channel, but now with the Champions Tour coming to town, it's going to be a lot of fun from this area. There's a player whose passion and foresight in all of his work really was the motivation behind making this happen. We have a video right now to tell you a bit about that man. (Video played.) DAVE MARR: This man, Steve Stricker, certainly is going to carry through, I'm sure, this event and onward. I would like to welcome everyone here, fellow members of the media; hopefully you're as excited as we all are, and introduce the folks here on the panel. I'm sure you all know down the far left is the director of athletics for the University of Wisconsin, Barry Alvarez. Next to him, a man who, again, the talent and decency I've met very few people who equal his gentlemanly stature in the game of golf, always a pleasure to be around and to watch play golf, Steve Stricker.

Beem's thrilling one-stroke win over Tiger Woods at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minn., marked the fifth major championship won in 2002 by a player using Callaway Golf(R) balls.
