Walkabouts Walkabouts, also known as mobile booths, are great socially distanced way for the girls to connect with customers. They can be used in place of or in addition to in-person cookie booths and virtual booths. Girls get to try something new, practice people skills and map-reading and can purchase a fun patch to celebrate their success! Here’s how it works: • Chart a course through the neighborhood. One girl and caregiver takes one block and another girl and her caregiver takes the next block or takes different sides of the street. - Girls could even go around a couple of days in advance leaving door hangers to take preorders and letting people know when they will be in the neighborhood. • Decorate a wagon or vehicle so that cookie customers see you coming. • Only do walkabouts when there’s daylight, stay on sidewalks and obey all traffic rules. • Wear face masks for the duration of the walkabout. • Ring the doorbell or knock and step six feet back from the door. • Use the Digital Cookie app to take contactless credit card Photo is from previous cookie seasons.
