Ministry of Public Health
The Minister of Public Health issued a decision regarding the issuance of an official vaccination document for the inoculated persons outside the national plan, from those who received the first dose outside Lebanon and brought the second dose of the vaccine with them, or who received vaccines through private initiatives. The decision stipulated the necessity for these individuals to undergo an immunization examination two weeks after completing the second dose of the vaccine and obtain an official document in a laboratory accredited on or outside the Lebanese territory to prove the result of this examination, in addition to an official medical report signed and stamped with the seal of a doctor registered in one of the two Lebanese Doctors Syndicates.
The Ministry of Public Health announced that it does not object to the private import of the vaccine in appropriate conditions that guarantee its quality, with the need to coordinate with the Ministry in order to accompany and document.
The Ministry of Public Health has provided in-kind assistance to the municipality of Brital and the Union of Municipalities south of Baalbek, including 5 oxygen devices, rations of medicines, masks and sterilizers. Masks and sterilizers
The Ministry of Public Health announced that it has granted more than thirty private companies that have good storage and distribution conditions, formal approval to negotiate the import of the vaccine commissioned by the Ministry, noting that a number of vaccine manufacturers (such as Pfizer and AstraZeneca) only sell to governments. While private contracting with other companies that have obtained emergency use permission (Sinopharm and Sputnik) takes time. The Ministry also affirmed that its endeavor to manage the initiative of associations and the private sector to import the vaccine aims to ensure quality and achieve community immunity as quickly as possible and document it on the platform. As for the strict commitment to free vaccination, the Ministry works according to what is applied in various countries of the world, as private initiatives are in solidarity with the official authorities to confront the pandemic

Lebanese Army Forces
- The army units continue to distribute social aid (400,000 Lebanese pounds) to families with limited income in all Lebanese territories. - Distributing food aid in various Lebanese regions through the CIMIC Office. - Supporting the security services in implementing the decisions issued by the Council of Ministers. - Breaking up gatherings and directing citizens to the necessity to adhere to preventive measures
General Directorate of Internal Security Forces
The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division issued a statement about cases infected with Coronavirus in prisons, stating:
The number of cases of laboratory, clinical and temporal recovery from the "Corona" virus in Roumieh Central Prison and in the Beirut Justice Palace glasses, and in the prisons for minors and women in Baabda / 921 / cases out of the total number / 966 / positive cases, after conducting / 3584 / laboratory examinations for inmates And a positive case was admitted to the hospital to receive the necessary treatment. • Diagnosing / 75 / positive cases in Jezzine Prison. • Diagnosing / 67 / positive cases in Aley Prison. • Diagnosing / 25 / cases in the Tripoli Prisons Platoon. • Diagnosing / 5 / positive cases in Amyoun Prison. • The absence of positive cases, glasses of the Beirut police unit. • There was one positive case in the glasses of the Judicial Police Unit.

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education issued Decision No. 67 / M / 2021 regarding the suspension of distance teaching work in all schools, high schools, and public and private institutes from the morning of Monday 8 March 2021 until the evening of Sunday 14 March 2021.
A statement was issued by the National Operations Room for Disaster Management on 2/28/2021, supplementing the executive statements of Resolution No. 96 / M on 6/2/2021 related to updating the strategy to confront the Coronavirus and the stages of gradually easing the closure restrictions, in which it was decided:
• That the ban on exit and entry remains in effect from 20:00 until 5:00, with compulsory wearing of the muzzle when traveling and wandering.
• Gatherings on beaches and sidewalks are prohibited (except for individual sports), and public parks remain closed.
• All religious and social gatherings and events are prohibited.
• The number of 3 persons with the driver is implicitly adhered to when transporting by public cars and 50% of the capacity of the rest of public transport, with the obligation to wear the muzzle.
• Workers in sectors permitted to work 24 hours are excluded from the provisions of Clause No. 1 above, as they can move within the time of the curfew according to their working hours.
