    Final Report – Executive Summary The Study on Greater Kampala Road Network and Transport Improvement in the Republic of Uganda November 2010 CHAPTER 5 TRAFFIC SURVEY AND TRAFFIC DEMAND FORECAST 5.1 TRAFFIC SURVEY The Study Team conducted a traffic survey in January 2010 to identify the current traffic condition and to forecast the future traffic demand. A supplemental traffic survey was also conducted on major junctions in June 2010 to study the current intersection condition and problems.
