International film festival in Guwahati from Sept 7

GUWAHATI, April 2: CMS VATAVARAN is going to hold the 7th edition of Internal Film Festival, 2016 with focus on the Brahmaputra from September 7-11, 2016 in Guwahati.

Talking to newsmen here today, CMS VATAVARAN coordination head Sundeep Srivastav said: “The festival aims to celebrate the importance of the Brahmaputra. Conservationists, policy makers, environment journalists and communities concerned will deliberate upon contemporary issues like ground water harvesting, water conservation, etc.” Srivastav has also sought nominations for Green Ambassador Award to be given away on the occasion.
