LADY BEARS POSTGAME NOTES 2018-19 #4/4 BAYLOR 65, K-STATE 50 • JAN. 9, 2019 • WACO, TEXAS • FERRELL CENTER • ATTENDANCE: 5,025 TEAM NOTES • Baylor moved to 551-99 under 19th-year head coach Kim Mulkey, improving to 34-8 all-time vs. Texas Tech and 287-172 vs. Big 12 teams. • Mulkey is 249-55 all-time vs. Big 12 opponents in the regular season (.819). • Baylor has 30-straight wins over Kansas State. • Baylor’s extended its win streak at the Ferrell Center to 29 games. • Starting lineup for the Lady Bears was Chloe Jackson, Juicy Landrum, DiDi Richards, Lauren Cox, and Kalani Brown, moving to 11-1 as a starting unit. • Baylor out-rebounded Kansas State 44-32, making it 83 of the last 86 games in which the Lady Bears have out-rebounded their opponents. • Baylor has out-rebounded all 13 opponents this season. • Baylor was 0-of-4 from three-point range, ending a streak of 56-straight games with a 3-point field goal • The last time the Lady Bears did not connect from beyond the arc was at Texas Feb. 20, 2017 (0-1). • The Lady Bears held K-State to 32.1% shooting from the field (18-56).
