BROADCAST Hector Borg At The Helm: Hector Borg was named manager of the San Jose Giants on July 17 replacing Bill Hayes, who resigned four days earlier. Borg, 34, had been serving as the fundamentals Radio: sjgiants.com (Joe Ritzo) coach for the Giants’ Dominican Summer League team this season prior to his appointment in San All games aired on club’s official Jose. Last year, Borg was the manager for the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes (Giants Short-Season website and Mobile App affiliate). He also managed the Giants’ Arizona Rookie League team in 2017. Borg played three
