The Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society (ARCSHS) is based at La Trobe University, Melbourne and is a centre for social research into sexuality, health and the social dimensions of sex and human relationships.

Rachel was awarded $2,000 AIDS Council 30th Anniversary Significant Andrew Westle was awarded the prize to attend the 3rd International Sociological Contribution to HIV Award. for the best paper at the X International Association Forum of Sociology in Vienna, Association for the Study of Sexuality, July 2016, and Andrew was awarded $500 Culture and Society Conference in Dublin toward the cost of travel to the Dublin for his paper ‘When Men Dance: Contesting IASSCS conference. Normative Sexualities through Movement’. Emily Bariola, Daniel du Plooy and Tom Bianca Fileborn received a $2,000 travel Rozbroj received $500 from the La Trobe grant from The Ian Potter Foundation Graduate Research School Intellectual to attend and present at the Everyday Climate Fund for their application to set up Encounters with Violence: Critical Feminist a Gender and Sexuality Interest Group.
