Q: Why should I order an Adobe Bundle instead of just a point product or one of the components of the bundle? A: The Adobe Design Bundle, Web Bundle, and Video Bundle offer a unique opportunity to purchase leading-edge products at a savings of up to US$299*. In addition, using a combination of products to design and develop print, web, video, or mobile content enables you to realize your ideas faster, because you have the right tool at the right time. *Pricing may vary; contact your Adobe Authorized Reseller for more information. Q: Are the Adobe Bundles available internationally? A: Yes. All three Adobe Bundles are available internationally in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish language versions. The Adobe Design Bundle and Web Bundle are also available in a Korean language version. Q: Why aren’t the bundles available in my localized language or geography? A: At this time not all products are localized into the same languages. In most of the languages where all products included in the bundle are localized, the bundle is being offered. Q: Are there upgrade paths and pricing available for the new software bundles? A: The following upgrade paths are available through Adobe Authorized Resellers or directly from the Adobe Store at www.adobe.com/store: • If you own Adobe Creative Suite 1.x, Standard or Premium, you can upgrade to the Adobe Design Bundle for US$949*. • If you own Adobe Creative Suite 1.x, Standard or Premium, and Macromedia Studio MX or MX 2004, you can upgrade to the Adobe Web Bundle for US$899*. • If you own Adobe Video Collection Professional or Adobe Video Collection Standard, you can upgrade to the Adobe Video Bundle for US$1,199*. *Pricing may vary; contact your Adobe Authorized Reseller for more information. Q: I just purchased Adobe Creative Suite 2. Why isn’t there a cross-grade path for me to get special pricing on the Adobe Web or Design Bundle? A: If your product was purchased recently, you may be able to return it to the location from which you bought it and purchase the bundle instead. Adobe allows returns for products bought directly from our phone or web store up to 30 days after the purchase date. Adobe Authorized Reseller policies may vary. If you have questions about Adobe’s return policy, U.S. customers can contact Adobe Customer Service at 800-833-6687. Outside the U.S., visit www.adobe.com/support/intlsupport.html. Adobe Bundle FAQ 2 Q: Is there better upgrade pricing for the Adobe Design Bundle if I own both Macromedia Flash Professional and Adobe Creative Suite? A: No. There is only one upgrade path to the Adobe Design Bundle. If you are interested in leveraging your investment in Flash Professional, you may be interested in the upgrade paths from Flash Professional to Macromedia Studio 8. Refer to www.macromedia.com/software/flash/flashpro/ productinfo/upgrade for upgrade eligibility and availability. Q: If I own Adobe Creative Suite in a language that does not exist for the bundle, can I upgrade to International English? A: Customers who own localized language versions of Adobe Creative Suite 1.x are eligible to upgrade to the International English version of the Adobe Design Bundle. Customers who own localized language versions of Adobe Creative Suite and Studio MX or Studio MX 2004 in English are eligible to upgrade to the International English version of the Web Bundle. Q: If I own the Adobe Video Collection in a language that does not exist for the bundle, can I upgrade to International English? A: Customers who own localized language versions of the Adobe Video Collection are eligible to upgrade to the International English version of the Adobe Video Bundle. Q: As the owner of a previous version of one or more Adobe or Macromedia products (such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Encore DVD, Adobe Audition, Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, or Contribute), why can’t I upgrade to one of the Adobe Bundles for a discounted price? A: There isn’t a separate upgrade path available for these products to the Design Bundle, Video Bundle, or Web Bundle. With so many products included in the different bundles, it’s difficult to offer upgrade paths that satisfy every combination of upgrade from products to the bundles. However, there are upgrade paths available from qualified standalone products to Adobe Creative Suite 2, Adobe Production Studio, or Macromedia Studio 8 individually. Refer to www.adobe.com or www.macromedia.com for eligibility and availability. Q: If I purchase an Adobe Bundle today, will there be an upgrade path for me in the future? Will I be able to upgrade individual products from within the bundle? A: Customers who purchase the Adobe Design Bundle, Web Bundle, or Video Bundle are essentially buying full versions of the two products that make up the bundle. As such, they will have an upgrade path to future versions of these individual products (Creative Suite 2, Studio 8, Production Studio, or Flash Professional 8) but will not have special upgrade paths to products contained within Creative Suite 2, Studio 8, or Production Studio. Q: Why does the upgrade to the Web Bundle require ownership of both Adobe Creative Suite and Macromedia Studio MX? A: By including the two most complete packages for designing, publishing, and managing content for the web, we wanted to provide as attractive an offer as possible to the customers who have already purchased these solutions separately.
