Zion Train were the headlining act, but they didn’t manage to make it on stage due to a bomb scare bringing the event to a premature end. The festival was held just a few days after the murderous outrage perpetrated on the citizens of London by a nihilistic death squad protesting global injustice in the name of Islam. Despite the atmosphere of fear and paranoia that reigned throughout England at the time, the evacuation of the festival was calm and orderly. The legacy of kowtowing to paternalistic authority that marks the post- industrial cities of Britain has its virtues. The cancelled event was restaged in September. 2 There seem to be a lot of hairdressing salons in the English-speaking world that refer to the Acropolis in their business names. I don’t know why.
