Change the Vendor to record a 10 character tax identifer. New 1099 NEC form for print and electronic transfer. Use current 1099-MISC Box 7 value in new form, removing from revised MISC form.

Last inventory consumed date – this field is intended to show the last time an item was truly “consumed” whether in the form of being issued to an order or shipped to a customer.

Last inventory transaction date – this field is intended to show the last time ANY inventory transaction (issue, receipt or adjustment) has occurred

Population of date values through specific PICK, BKFL, BKSV, SHIP, CROV, PORV, MORV, INVA, CPMT, or COMT transactions.

Value Visibility of the last inventory activity to help determine slow moving inventory.

AVAILABLE FROM 8.00C Fourth Shift Payment Terms Allow user to enter the discount days in Cash #1 days or Cash #2 or Cash #3 and Cash #4 days equal to the net days. with this they can provide the discount up until the due date. If the customer pays the invoice late (after net due days) the discount would not be applied.

Value Available for Customer and Vendor – Current function allows discount up until the day prior to the due date. After implementation of this feature Fourth Shift will accept discount up until the due date

R&D Fourth Shift INVA: Reason Code Control

User can configure the reason code control from CNFG setup screen.

The default is set to “N”, which would behave identical to 8.0 functionality. Other options will be the system level control and by product line control.

New screen INRC will maintain the “system level control” defined reason code.

R&D Fourth Shift SHIP: Allow Returns

Allow return from customer (SHIP V) to be done for a customer order line at status 4 and 6.

Return from a status 6 customer order line will creates a credit memo and qty returned will be back into inventory (equivalent of return to vendor on a closed PO).

Return from a status 4 customer order line should prompt for qty returned and qty scrapped where only the qty returned will be back into inventory and update the shipped quantity (also similar to PORV V for a status 4 PO).

R&D Fourth Shift ITMB: Control Backflush Activity

Currently, an item can be backed flush by the receipt of CORV, MORV, PORV and PICK transactions. In this enhancement, the Item Master needs an new field to Control only CORV/MORV/PORV Backflush Activity. Back Flush function (batch task) will not consider PICK transaction. Control component backflush with new setting to indicate that that component can never be backflushed. If there is an order dependent bill for a parent that has this component, when backflush runs, it would not backflush any of these components with this setting.
