The purpose of the EEO Public File Report (“Report”) is to comply with Section 73.2080(c)(6) of the FCC’s EEO Rule. This Report has been prepared on behalf of the Station Employment Unit that is comprised of the following station(s):

KTVX/KUCW

The information contained in this Report covers the time period beginning June 1, 2015 to and including May 31, 2016 (the “Applicable Period”). The FCC’s EEO Rule Requires that this Report contain the following information:

1. A list of all full-time vacancies filled by the Stations comprising the Station Employment Unit during the Applicable Period; 2. For each such vacancy, the recruitment sources(s) utilized to fill the vacancy (including, if applicable, organizations entitled to notification pursuant to Section 73.2080(c)(1)(ii) of the EEO Rule, which should be separately identified), identified by name, address, contact person and telephone number; 3. The recruitment source that referred the hiree for each full-time vacancy during the Applicable Period; 4. For purposes of this Report, a vacancy was deemed “filled” when the hiree began work. A person was deemed “interviewed” whether he or she was interviewed in person, over the phone or by e-mail.

Recruitment Initiative Description

1 Establishment of an internship KTVX/KUCW offers internships in various departments as an program designed to assist opportunity for students to apply their classroom theory to practical members of the community to work experience. Our internship program offers students the acquire skills needed for opportunity to experience firsthand the reality of working in the broadcast employment television broadcast industry, and allows us to build goodwill in the communities in which we operate. Summer 2015 Semester we had 12 interns: Broadview University, Brigham Young University, Utah State University, The University of Utah, Weber State University, and Canyon School District. Fall 2015 Semester we had 4 interns: Salt Lake Community College, University, University of Utah and Utah Valley University. Spring 2016 we had 10 interns: Utah State University, Salt Lake Community College, Brigham Young University, and Utah Valley University.

2 Co-sponsoring a job fair with an On March 09, 2016, our station employment unit co-sponsored the organization in the business and Utah Broadcasters Association Job Fair at the University of Utah in professional community whose Salt Lake City, UT. We ran: 15 seconds advertisements from membership includes February 29, 2016 through March 8, 2016 on ABC4Utah, CW30, substantial participation of MeTv 4.2Utah and WeatherNation 4.3Utah. We also posted this on women and minorities our ABC 4 Utah website. Station participants included our Office Manager, General Sales Manager, Local Sales Manager, Digital Media Director, News Director, Promotion, and General Manager. We received 6 applications from the job fair and many students interested in our internship program.

We distributed sheets with our open jobs and the Nexstar HRSmart website. Station participants were the General Manager and the News Director. 4 Participation in job fairs by On March 24, 2016, we participated in the Spring Single Mothers station personnel who have Seminar at the Salt Lake County Complex in Salt Lake City This fair substantial responsibility for provides an opportunity for single mothers and low-income women hiring decisions to meet local and national employers, receive valuable employment tips and discover valuable community resources. Students, Sexual institutions relating to career Assault Advocacy Workers and Therapists gathered to raise money opportunities in broadcasting and listen to speakers. Our anchor spoke about journalism careers and how to balance objectivity with community advocacy and involvement. 6 Participation in events On November 7, 2015 KTVX GTU anchor hosted the Mountain Star sponsored by educational Hospital’s Women’s Health Conference. It was a day-long health institutions relating to career conference geared toward educating women. This was also a job opportunities in broadcasting fair, encouraging women to enter the medical field. 7 Participation in events On November 19, 2015, mothers and children from the Utah Mom’s sponsored by educational For Clean Air and students from the American International School institutions relating to career of Utah visited ABC4/CW30 for a tour and to learn more about opportunities in broadcasting journalism. Tour and presentation hosed by the News Director. Panel discussion on journalism included reporters, anchors, assistant news director and managing editor. This was part of AISU’s Career Day. Those interested in journalism visited the station. 8 Participation in events February 11, 2016 was Political Action Week at Utah Valley sponsored by educational University. Chief Political Correspondent Report hosted a student institutions relating to career government panel and discussion.
