He completed a full time program in oral surgery at St. Istvan Hospital in Budapest, Hungary (1992-1996). He completed his internship program in Periodontics at UCLA. After he graduated from the Fellowship Program (1999-2000) in Implant Dentistry at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California, he was appointed assistant professor the following year. Prof Urban teaches implant dentistry in the graduate program at Loma Linda University. He is licensed in the state of California (USA) and has a private practice in Budapest, Hungary. Prof Urban received his PhD degree in Periodontology in 2012 at the University of Szeged, Hungary. He is currently an honorary professor at the University of Szeged. Prof Urban has published scientific articles and text book chapters on bone regeneration and soft-tissue reconstructive surgery around dental implants. Ronald Jung, Switzerland Prof Jung trained in oral surgery, prosthodontics and implant therapy. He is currently Head of the Division of Implantology and Vice Chairman of the Centre of Dental Medicine of the University of Zurich Clinic for Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics and Dental Material Science. In 2006 he was a Visiting Associate Professor in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Centre at San Antonio, USA (Chairman: Prof Dr D. Cochran). In 2008 he finalized his habilitation (venia legendi) in dental medicine and was appointed to the University of Zurich. In 2011 he was awarded his PhD degree by the University of Amsterdam, ACTA dental school, in the Netherlands. In 2013 he was a visiting Associate Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials Sciences at Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, USA. In 2015 he was promoted to full Professor for implantology at the University of Zurich. He is an accomplished and internationally renowned lecturer and researcher, best known for his work in the field of hard and soft tissue management and his research on new technologies in implant dentistry. Matteo Chiapasco, Italy Prof Chiapasco graduated in medicine and surgery and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Milan. is an associate professor of oral surgery (Dental Disciplines) at this University and Loma Linda University, Los Angeles, California. He is the author of nearly 350 publications in national and international journals and fourteen books on topics of oral and Maxillofacial surgeons, some of which are published both in Italy that translated abroad. Is part of the Editorial Board and Referee of Clinical Oral Implants Research, International Journal of Oral and Maxillo-Facial Surgery and European Journal of Implantology. He is a Fellow and was President of the Italian section ITI from 2007 to 2011, President SICOI (Italian society of oral surgery and implantology) from 2002 to 2004 and SIO (Italian society of Implantology) from 2014 to 2016, as well as founding partner the IAO (Italian Academy of Osseointegration and Oral Rehabilitation). Rino Burkhardt, Switzerland Prof Burkhardt runs a private clinic in Zurich, Switzerland, limited to Periodontology and Implantology. Additionally, he holds an associate professorship at the University of Zurich and honorary professorship at the University of Hong Kong. In the early 90’s, he was one of the first clinicians who introduced microsurgical techniques in periodontics. Today, he is a leading expert in this field with a clinical experience of more than two decades. Beyond his clinical activities, he actively participates in clinical research related to wound healing, periodontal regeneration and skills evaluation. He has authored several refereed articles and book chapters about the aforementioned topics. Currently, he is the president of the Swiss Society of Oral Implantology, the vice president of the Clinical Research Foundation for the Promotion of Oral Health and Board Member of the Research Group of Oral Soft Tissue Biology and Wound Healing. Jung Chul Park, Korea A/Prof Jung-Chul Park graduated from Yonsei University Dental College, Seoul, Korea where he studied periodontology. He was awarded a PhD from the same college in 2012 for his studies of the stem cells acquired from the inflamed periodontal ligaments. He was awarded an ITI Scholarship and visited the Eastman Dental Institute, UCL, London, UK. He won the André Schroeder Research Prize in 2013 and then returned to Yonsei University as a clinical research assistant professor. He is now a full time assistant professor at the Department of Periodontology, Dankook University Dental College, Cheonansi, Korea. He is an ITI Fellow and runs the ITI Study Club for Dankook Perio (Korea).
