FIRST DAY - OCTOBER 17, 1985 LEGISLATIVE JOURNAL EIGHTY-NINTH LEGISLATURE SECOND SPECIAL SESSION FIRST DAY Legislative Chamber, Lincoln, Nebraska Thursday, October 17, 1985 Pursuant to a proclamation by His Excellency, Robert Kerrey, Governor of the State of Nebraska, the Eighty-Ninth Legislature, Second Special Session assembled in the West Legislative Chamber of the State Capitol, at the hour of 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 17, 1985, and was called to order by Speaker Nichol. PRAYER The prayer was offered by Dr. Robert Palmer, Westminster Presbyterian Church, Lincoln, Nebraska. PRESENTATION OF COLORS Presentation of Colors by the Nebraska National Guard.
