Graduated from ENSEEIHT engineering school in Toulouse in France in 2008 and worked for Schlumberger Wireline in Holland and Norway before joining Equinor where I have held different positions both onshore in planning and offshore as well supervisor for various platforms and fields. I am very curious by nature and always had strong focus on trying out new technologies as well as being data-oriented to try and leverage opportunities as much as possible which is very much in line with our current digitalization efforts. AbdulRahman A. Al-Ghamdi – Northern Area Completions & Workover Department Manager at Aramco AbdulRahman Al-Ghamdi currently manages Northern Area Well Completion Operations Department, maintaining wells production and upkeep in Saudi Arabia’s Northern Area onshore and offshore, oil and gas fields. For the last three decades, Al-Ghamdi has spearheaded the production, intervention and operations of onshore and offshore fields. Al-Ghamdi is the author and co-author of various technical papers; the owner of a field patent; and a speaker and contributor to numerous technical conferences and symposiums. His efforts are associated with decades of technical knowledge and best practices of effective usage of assets toward smarter more effective and efficient field development, taking into consideration the health-safety-security-environment (HSSE), efficiency, relatability, accountability and effectiveness. Stian Øistensen Jørgensen – VP Drilling & Wells - Operations Intervention Alliance at AkerBP Stian Ø. Jørgensen joined Aker BP in August 2018 and is responsible for the Well Intervention & Stimulation Alliance, which was formed together with Schlumberger and Stimwell Services in 2019. Stian has his background from Seadrill and North Atlantic Drilling, where he has held several operational and support staff roles, including operations in Norway, Brazil and Russia. Stian holds a Master of Science in Marine Engineering & Naval Architecture from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), in addition to executive education from INSEAD and IMD business schools. Edward Kalu – Head, Well Specialities at Total Edward Kalu serves as Head, Well Specialties, out of Total E&P’s Drilling & Wells technical headquarters in Pau, France. He has worked in the industry for over 25 years, starting his career with Sedco Forex (Schlumberger) in 1995, and subsequently holding several roles with Total E&P in Angola, United Kingdom, Congo, Nigeria and France, over a 17 year span, in most instances leading subsea completion & intervention teams. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Shahril Mokhtar – Head of Well Integrity and Workover at Petronas Shahril is currently heading the PETRONAS Well Integrity & Workover department for domestic and international operations covering well intervention, workover, CTD and wells decommissioning. 21 years in the industry with a balance exposure in the service side (SLB), operator (Shell, Talisman, PETRONAS) and regulator (Malaysia Petroleum Management). Shahril pioneered the Integrated Idle Well Restoration (IIWR) in 2016 which transformed the overall performance of well intervention across all the operators in Malaysia. Believes in technology as a differentiator, Shahril is an accredited Professional Technologist (Ts.) by Malaysia Board of Technologists. .
