59 Edición De Los GRAMMY 2017 59 edición de los GRAMMY 2017 Los premios GRAMMY 2017 tuvieron como grandes protagonistas al fallecido David Bowie y a Adele, en una emotiva ceremonia repleta de actuaciones musicales. Hubo cuatro premios póstumos para el artista británico por su disco ‘Blackstar’, en las categorías de Disco de Música Alternativa, Mejor Interpretación Rock, Mejor Diseño de Empaque y Mejor ingeniería musical en un álbum de música no clásica. Adele, la gran triunfadora de la noche, se llevó los cinco premios a los que estaba nominada incluyendo los tres máximos galardones del certamen: Canción del Año, Álbum del Año y Grabación del Año. La cantante británica Adele Beyoncé, que partía con nueve nominaciones, finalmente se llevó dos premios: Mejor Vídeo Musical por ‘Formation’ y Mejor Álbum Urbano Contemporáneo. Otro de los grandes ganadores fue Chance tHe rapper, salido de Chicago y la nueva sensación en el mundo del rap. Con 25 años y solo cuatro grabando música por su cuenta, consiguió el premio al Mejor Artista Nuevo y el de Mejor Interpretación Rap. En cuanto a los ganadores del GRAMMY 2017 en las categorías de música latina, se anunciaron en una ceremonia previa a la gala. El dúo mexicano Jesse&Joy se consagraron con un gramófono dorado al Mejor Álbum de Pop Latino por un “Un besito más”. En la categoría de Mejor Disco Latino de Rock, Urbano o Contemporáneo, ganó iLe por su álbum ‘iLevitable’. Vicente Fernández se alzó con el Grammy al mejor álbum de música regional mexicana (incluyendo música tejana) por “Un azteca en el Azteca, Vol. 1 (en vivo)”, mientras que el premio al mejor álbum de música tropical fue para los boricuas de José Lugo & Guasábara Combo por “¿Dónde están?”. Por su parte, Chucho Valdés se llevó el GRAMMY al Mejor Álbum de Jazz Latino por “Tribute to Irakere: Live In Marciac”. This brings the 2016 full year growth to -1.51%. The worst performing sector for the period was Mining and Quarrying (-12.04%), while Agriculture remains the top performer with an expansion of 4.03%. CBN Reviews Forex Policy The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has announced plans to increase its supply of forex to banks to enable them meet demand for travel, medical and school fees. This will temporarily mitigate the current forex liquidity crisis. However, because the CBN still wants to determine price and quantity, the market will remain fragile. Eurobond Hits Successful Sales The Federal Government has completed the sales of its dollar denominated $1 billion euro bonds at a yield of 7.88%. The offer was almost 8 times oversubscribed, as investors bid over $7.8 billion for the 15-year bonds. These funds will boost and revive the economy. The bond has now been listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange PMI Plunges for Second Month this Year According to the CBN, Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) fell to 44.6 from 48.2 in February. This sharp decline raises significant concerns about the state of economy, especially in the light of an expected recovery. The performance of the manufacturing sector continues to be hindered by high operation costs and forex illiquidity.

Driven by the need to continually evolve, the country trio always seems to be in transit, pushing toward a newer, bolder sound one minute and hitting the road for a worldwide tour the next. Sometimes, those two things happen at once. With 747 , Lady Antebellum's fifth album, the band captures the speed and spirit of its critically- acclaimed live show in 11 new songs. Bandmates Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood may have formed the group in Nashville, with all three singers harmonizing for the first time around Haywood's piano, but they earned their stripes on the road.
