WE ARE A TOUR OPERATOR BASED VERY CLOSE TO LAJATICO AND WE ARRANGE RETURN TRANSFER SERVICES ON COACHES /BUSES FROM MANY MAJOR TUSCAN TOWNS TO LAJATICO ON THE DAY OF THE SHOW. Bus transfers are from: Pisa, Florence, Pontedera, Volterra, Lucca, San Gimignano, Terricciola, Castelfalfi On each bus there are up to 50- 54 seats Guide will be on board only on large buses with at least 30 passengers BUSES DEPARTING Rate per Meeting time Meeting point FROM person Pisa 70 € 16:00 (4:00 pm) In front of hotel NH Cavalieri in Pisa, you will meet the guide. The tour operator is also not responsible for the contents of the event and the outcome of the performance. - The tour operator Arianna & Friends arranges logistic services before and after the performance only. No operator of Arianna & Friends is allowed inside the arena and is responsible of any event occurring inside the Teatro del Silenzio. - The tour operator Arianna & Friends arranges transfer services by vans, minibuses, and buses to and from the special parking areas, where guests will meet members of the tour operator to give assistance and information. - From the parking area to the show venue guests will need to walk 15-20 minutes up to the gates and the road is slightly up and down. We do not recommend attendance at the event for anyone who has motor difficulties or is in poor physical health, or anyone who should avoid exerting themselves. You herewith confirm that you are able to walk as no special assistance will be provided at the parking area and you might not be able to enter the venue. - The program of the event at Teatro del Silenzio with Andrea Bocelli is not a solo-concert. - the program for 2021 edition, as per the organizers’ announcement: ‘’The fifteenth edition of the Teatro del Silenzio will reinvent the experience of opera music, making it a memorable journey, to be embarked upon with Andrea Bocelli and many of his friends, big international stars who have been applauded in the most important theaters throughout the world. Follow the direction VOLTERRA on the SR 439, keep following directions for VOLTERRA on the SR439. When you reach the hotel and restaurant MOLINO D'ERA with a petrol IP station on your left. Turn to the left and then take your first right straight after a small bridge, follow signs towards COLLE VAL D'ELSA Keep driving on the SR 439 dir, after about 10 mins turn left to COZZANO SENSANO ULIGNANO. Ignore the first juntion to COZZANO and take the second indicating ULIGNANO Continue on this road that starts out as a paved road and then becomes a dirt road as it winds up the hill. You will pass the signs for Villa Scopicci and Villa di Ulignano/ Borgo della Speranza Keep going until you pass Agriturismo Caffagiolo. If you look left at this point you will see Podere Ripi from a distance. As the road curves to the right, TURN LEFT and down through a gate into our private driveway. Il centro maggiore – e l’unico che oltrepassi i 10.000 abitanti – è Volterra. Questo comune ha toccato il suo massimo (un po’ più di 20.000 residenti) con l’ottavo censimento (1936). CARATTERISTICHE DEL TERRITORIO I dossi montuosi di Chianni e Rivalto, nel comune di Lajatico, si collegano in modo acclive in direzione del versante volterrano. Lajatico è situata sulla sommità di uno sperone collinare alla confluenza della Valle dell'Era e della Valle dello Sterza, sulla direttrice della Sarzanese Valdera. La costante e seducente presenza storica dei borghi che dominano i colli, non sminuisce la bellezza dell’ambiente naturale. I borghi sono circondati da campi coltivati e boschi di cerri, querce e castagni. L’attività vinicola è sicuramente l’attività produttiva più significativa, prodotta nelle fattorie di Miemo, Le Pratacce di Montevaso. La parte meridionale della Provincia di Pisa si sviluppa attorno all’alto bacino del fiume Cecina. Il suo ampio fondovalle, percorso parallelamente da Est a Ovest dalla Strada 68 della Val di Cecina, ha rappresentato l’asse verso il quale, da sempre, sono stati attratti numerosi abitanti delle vicine zone collinari, sia per la vocazione agricola del territorio, sia per l’utilizzo storico delle acque fluviali a scopi produttivi come ad esempio per l’estrazione del Salgemma.
