SCOUTING THE SCOTS Around the WIAC Macalester enters the postseason having won its last eight games, including five victories by eight points or less. After starting the season at 1-1, the Scots tore throught the Midwest Conference, taking the Saturday, November 22 - NCAA First Round league championship last Saturday with a 30-27 triumph over Illinois College in the MWC title game. Ma- Macalester (Minn.) at UW-Whitewater, 12 p.m. calester, which finished 4-6 in 2013, is making its first appearance in the NCAA Division III Playoffs. Head coach Tony Jennison was named MWC Co-Coach of the Year after leading the Scots to a school-record nine wins.
