With our team of fun-loving, caring counsellors, your child will have a blast participating in age appropriate activities, including: co-operative games, crafts, songs and special activities centered on a different theme each camp session. The program encourages social interaction, confidence building and skill development in a wide range of fun and engaging activities. Campers must be four years old by the commencement of the session for which they are registered. A 4:1 camper to staff ratio is the norm for this program. Many of our clubs and winter leagues are winding down for the year, currently in playoffs and celebrating the end of season, while others are gearing up for the spring and summer. A big high five to all of you who have maintained your New Year’s intentions into the Spring. Please let us know what we can do to help you keep the momentum. As always, there has been lots of activity and things to celebrate. Stronger You, a new program launched in January for our Get involved in StrongWomen graduates has been enthusiastically received and proven to be a resounding success. It describes the measures that the RA and the Archery Club will implement to ensure the health and safety of its members through the application of provincial and local health authority’s restrictions, integration of RA and Archery Canada and Archery Ontario guidelines and/or policies. Background The Archery professional and RA management have worked in partnership to develop these protocols to reduce the risks and substitute new ways of operating. The Return to Play Protocol has been adapted from resources formulated by Archery Canada and Archery Ontario and is compliant to provincial and municipal public health authorities. Information provided from Archery Canada is of a broad perspective in dealing with COVID-19, click here to read Archery Canada’s “COVID-19 Return to Sport for Archery Clubs”.
