The album was described by Halsey as lacking a "proper radio hit". A new version of the song "Castle" was released as the album's fourth single to promote the feature film The Huntsman: Winter's War. The latter three singles were certified Platinum, while the former was certified Gold. Outside of the singles, one more Platinum track ("Gasoline") and three more Gold tracks ("Hold Me Down", "Hurricane", and "Control") came from Badlands. "Gasoline" additionally became one of the album's most popular tracks despite only appearing on the Deluxe version of Badlands; it reached over 100 million streams on Spotify. Newsletter Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas, Kansas, Mexico May 2016 Oglebay Scholarship, a Roy Saunders Memorial By now, most of you have heard that longtime IAVM Region 6 member, Roy Saunders, CFE, passed away on April 14, 2016. A family friend said that Roy’s motto was “Life is about making the most out of what you are given. Live a little, have some fun…live a little, love a lot!” His daughter, Dawn, wrote this: "God has wiped away every tear and regret, and Roy is celebrating in Heaven today. Dad was a true original...a character in the best sense. If you knew him, you loved him. He was a smart and accomplished man...he was funny, strong, and authentic. “ Saunders was a long-time member of the International Association of Venue Managers, joining in 1957. Roy served in numerous capacities and held almost every office within the association. His influence as a leader, mentor and friend to the membership spanned seven decades. Saunders is the only person in IAVM history to be the recipient of the IAAM Mr. Auditorium Manager award, the Charles A McElravy award (the industry’s highest honor), and serve as IAAM President. Roy saw a need for top- level training for entertainment venue executives and helped conceive and found the Venue Management School (formerly Public Assembly Facility Management School) at Oglebay Park in Wheeling, WV, in 1987. At the IAVM Region 6 meeting in Denver, Bob Mayer announced that Kerry Painter and SMG-Tulsa had made a $250 donation to the region’s scholarship fund in Roy’s name, and then he matched it on the spot! On hearing the news back home in Tulsa, Roy’s family was so very pleased with the gesture, that Joyce Saunders donated $1000 in his name.

James. The FAC, as it was commonly known, actively participated in educational, social, civic, and economic issues concerning the black community through scholarships, petitions, civic gatherings and campaigns. Socially, the club annually toured numerous foreign countries as well as many places in the United States. Initially, the organization united nine local social clubs and later grew to include 125 different clubs. Under the guidance of the FAC, those groups published The Federation News, a newsletter that informed the membership and communicated FAC ideas to the black community. The Federation campaigned for such things as desegregation, upgrading black neighborhoods, election of black officials to the school board and as state representatives. Like its founder, the FAC reflected the middle class black community's values and standards. Starling James, founder of the FAC, was formerly a teacher in Kansas City. Always actively involved in civil rights for blacks, James received heavy criticism for his activities in Kansas City and was forced to leave.
