March 28-30, 2013 IU Natatorium Swimmers Jared Anderson, Max Cartwright, Josh Hall, Logan Redondo, CJ Smith and Derek Indianapolis, Ind. Toomey, and divers Mikey Ross and Jordan Lesser, will represent the Gophers at the event co-hosted by the Indiana Sports Corporation and IUPUI. Daily Schedule Prelims: 10:00 a.m. CT Toomey will be making his third-straight appearance at the NCAA Championships as a six-time Finals: 6:00 p.m. CT All-American, and qualified to compete in both the 50 free and 100 free this season with his times of 19.11 and 42.60, respectively. Smith will also be making a return appearance to the NCAAs. The sophomore qualified for the Quick Facts event this season with his time of 14:54.21 in the 1650 free, after earning All-America honorable University Information mention honors in the same event a season ago. USA Swimming is one of the National Governing Bodies (NGBs) under the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and the USOC is part of the Federation Internationale de Natation (FINA). FINA is the swimming organization within the International Olympic Committee (IOC)….the group that organizes the Olympics. So, your club is the grassroots level of membership for swimming that goes all the way up to the Olympics! From San Luis Obispo down to San Clemente and over to Las Vegas, we have about 25,000 athletes, coaches, officials and parent volunteers in our membership. Because our LSC is so large--the largest membership in the country--we have 6 Geographic sub- Committees: Coastal, Desert, Eastern, Metro, Pacific and Orange to help with administration and local competitions. CA oversees registration for all our clubs and individual members, swim meet sanctions—roughly 400 swim meets per year are sanctioned/approved by CA, multiple camps and all-star teams, as well as educational programs for everyone.

CALL TO ORDER, WELCOME, and INTRODUCTIONS: The House of Delegates meeting came to order at 10:25am at Lehman College APEX in the Bronx. The list of Clubs in attendance is at the Metro office. John McIlhargy welcomed everyone in attendance at the meeting. 2. ACCEPTANCE/CORRECTIONS OF MINUTES: A motion to accept the minutes of the May 18, 2016 House of Delegates was made, seconded and approved by all. Vote by acclamation – all in favor of accepting the minutes as posted - Motion carries. 3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA: Mac gave an explanation of what constitute the Consent Agenda. A motion to approve the Agenda of the September 17, 2016 House of Delegates as presented was made, seconded and approved by all. Vote by acclamation – all in favor - Motion carries. 4. GENERAL CHAIR : John McIlhargy 1. USAS Late convention - September 22-25, 2016 – this means that we had to have our HOD before the Convention. 2. Congratulations all around – 1. Senior Mets, Junior Olympics, Zone Team and Coaches, Olympic Trials (79 individual swims from Metro athletes), and Olympic Games in Rio. 2. Record amount of reimbursement, Record amount of Club Excellence dollars, Record Membership Statistics. 3. Welcome to a new club: Delaware Water Moccasins 4. National Junior Disability Championship in Middleton, Wisconsin. Johnny Giannotti (Sachem Swim Club) swam a total of 7 events and won them all! Well Done Johnny. 5.
