A new feature is available which allows both formulations to be used during a single simulation. A load curve can be defined which controls formulation switching. This feature can be used, for example, to simulate a statically initialized impact: Begin with a static implicit analysis, and after applying some load, switch to dynamic explicit analysis and proceed with an impact simulation.
