Due to public health and safety concerns related to COVID-19 and pursuant to Executive Order 202.1, extended by Executive Orders 202.14, 202.28, 202.38, 202.48, 202.55, 202.60, 202.67, 202.72, 202.79, 202.87, 202.95, 202.97 and 202.98 as well as Executive Order 202.15, extended by Executive Orders 202.29, 202.39, 202.49, 202.55, 202.60, 202.67, 202.72, 202.79, 202.87, 202.95 202.97 and 202.98 the County Legislature’s public hearing on the following public hearing will be held on April 20, 2021 at 2:00pm via a Zoom meeting, with link information to be determined. No in- person attendance by members of the public will be allowed at the April 20, 2021 meeting of the County Legislature.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that H2O Limo, Inc. has applied to the Suffolk County Legislature, by a Petition dated and verified February 8, 2021, pursuant to Article 8 of New York Navigation Law, Section 71 of New York Transportation Corporations Law, Section 131-g of New York Highway Law and Chapter 455 of the Suffolk County Code, for a license to operate an on-demand passenger water taxi among and between the following locations on both the mainland and Fire Island: Bellport Village, Patchogue, Blue Point, West Sayville, Oakdale, Islip, Bayshore, Watch Hill, Davis Park, Water Island, Fire Island Pines, Cherry Grove, Sailors Haven, Ocean Bay Park, Ocean Beach, Dunewood, Fair Harbor, Saltaire, Kismet Inn, and Fire Island Lighthouse and to establish rates and a schedule for such service.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Public Hearing on this Petition shall be held at the Regular Meeting of the Suffolk County Legislature at 2:00 p.m. on the day of April 20, 2021 at Hauppauge, New York

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN Tony’s Freight Service, Inc. has applied to the Suffolk County Legislature, by a Petition dated and verified 02/05/2021, pursuant to Article 8 of the Navigation Law and Section 71 of the Transportation Corporations Law and Local Law No.7 of 1982 of Suffolk County for the renewal of its existing Ferry License for service over and upon the waters of the Great South Bay, within the County of Suffolk between the Town of Islip facility of Sayville, New York and various communities on Fire Island, New York including Cherry Grove, Fire Island Pines, Sailor's Haven, Watch Hill, Point O'Woods, Saltaire, Seaview, Ocean Bay Park, and Water Island, as well as additional venues; and by a petition dated and verified 02/05/2021 to modify ferry rates and fares by setting minimum fixed time of use of six hours at $150 per hour, to be approved by the Suffolk County Legislature to maintain said rates

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, Fire Island Ferries Incorporated has applied to the Suffolk County Legislature, by a Petition dated and verified February 22, 2021, pursuant to Article 8 of the Navigation Law and Section 71 of the Transportation Corporations Law of the State of New York and Chapter 455 of the SUFFOLK COUNTY CODE for the approval of an amended passenger and freight ferry license and franchise for additional service to and from Sayville, Patchogue, Davis Park and Fire Island Pines along with its existing service between Bay Shore and the Fire Island communities of Kismet, Fair Harbor, Dunewood, Atlantique, Seaview, Ocean Bay Park, Point O Woods, Fire Island Pines, Cherry Grove, Davis Park and the Incorporated Villages of Ocean Beach and Saltaire, both express and local service, with intermittent stops among said communities and Villages, all of which lie within the County of Suffolk, at approved rates.

This local law would cap the fees charged by third-party food delivery services in Suffolk County during a declared emergency that prohibits on-premise dining and for 90 days thereafter.
