What’s happening, what’s next?

The fifth and final meeting for this current funding round of the DPWG is planned for the end of June 2020. With a number of key items to be discussed at the meeting being the next year ahead and what will the project look like. Workstream topics up for discussion will include secondary roads network; road signage; visitor pass options development; land tenure and ALT divestment, Aboriginal heritage consultations; waste management; environmental values and customary fishing, visitor and community safety, skills and enterprise support; and empowering families & addressing community impacts.

The DPWG will continue to provide advice and feedback on those items and others in the 14 broad areas of impacts and opportunities.
