Dear President, Dear Friend in Magic,

My philosophy has always been this: “facts speak for themselves”. You can check what I did in these three/six years, with the precious help of the Int. Vice Presidents and the Consultancy Groups, in my triennial report that will be sent to you soon. There is still a lot to do of course and this is why I am asking for the re-election (according to our Statutes for the last period of three years possible,) to accomplish something that is very important to me, since one of the main goals of FISM is to improve Magic and to raise the level of Magicians:

- FISM Competition Compliance System (CCS) that will provide rules and services to Associated Societies to better qualify their Competition and promote them as FISM Compliance Competition.

- FISM Jury Qualification System (JQS) selecting and training qualified Judges to assure uniformed and high-quality judging all over the World.

- To go on promoting FISM also outside the world of magic (including Academies and Universities).

The Fism Board is already working on this matter and the success of the project matters to me. I want to thank you all for the support you gave to me and the Board during these years. It is a great reward for the really hard job we did.

Ma philosophie a toujours été celle-ci : « Les faits parlent d’eux-mêmes ». Vous pourrez vérifier tout ce que j’ai accompli durant ces trois/six ans, avec la précieuse collaboration de mes deux vice-présidents et des Consultancy Groups, dans mon rapport triennal que vous recevrez sous peu. Il y a encore beaucoup à faire, j’en suis pleinement conscient, et c‘est la raison pour laquelle je me représente pour la réélection au poste de président (selon nos statuts pour une ultime période de trois ans). Je désire en effet finaliser quelque chose qui me tient particulièrement à cœur, étant donné que l’un des principaux objectifs de la FISM est de promouvoir la magie et d’élever le niveau des magiciens :

• Le FISM Competition Compliance System (CCS), lequel prévoit les règles et les services applicables aux membres associés pour leur offrir un système de qualification officiel aux concours et les agréer en tant que FISM Compliance Competitors ; • le FISM Jury Qualification System (JQS), lequel sélectionne et instruit les juges qualifiés pour assurer un jugement uniforme et de haute qualité dans le monde entier , sans oublier, bien sûr, la continuation de la promotion de la FISM également hors du monde de la magie, notamment auprès des universités. Le Board de la FISM travaille déjà d’arrache-pied sur ces questions d’importance dont le succès m’est cher.

Je profite de l’opportunité qui m’est offerte ici pour vous remercier du soutien que vous avez octroyé au Board de la FISM tout au long de ces années. C’est une belle récompense pour tout le travail que nous avons accompli.

Querido Presidente, Querido amigo de la Magia,

Mi filosofía siempre ha sido esta: "los hechos hablan por sí mismos". Puedes verificar lo que hice en los tres años / seis años, con la preciosa ayuda del Int. Los Vicepresidentes y los Grupos de Consultoría, en un informe anual que les serán enviados pronto. Todavía hay mucho que hacer, por supuesto, y es por eso que estoy en busca de la reelección (de acuerdo con nuestros Estatutos para el último período de tres años posible) para lograr algo que es muy importante para mí, ya que uno de los principales objetivos de FISM es mejorar la Magia y elevar el nivel de los Magos:

- Sistema de Cumplimiento de Competencia FISM (CCS) que proporcionará reglas y servicios a las Sociedades Asociadas para calificar mejor la competencia y promover la competencia masiva de cumplimiento de FISM.

- Sistema de Calificación de Jurado FISM (JQS) que selecciona y capacita a jueces calificados para garantizar juicios de inteligencia uniformados y de alta calidad en todo el mundo.

- Seguir promoviendo FISM también fuera del mundo de la magia (incluidas Academias y Universidades).

La Junta de Fism ya está trabajando en este asunto y el éxito del proyecto es muy importante para mi. Quiero agradecerles a todos por el apoyo que me dieron a mí y al Consejo durante estos años. Es una gran recompensa por el trabajo tan duro que hicimos.

Sehr geehrter Präsident, lieber Zauberfreund,

Es war stets meine Philosophie: Fakten sprechen für sich!

Was ich in den letzten drei/sechs Jahren geleistet habe, wird sich mit der wertvollen Hilfe der Vize-Präsidenten und der Beratungsgruppen ablesen lassen. Sie erhalten dazu in Kürze meinen alle drei Jahre verfassten Bericht. Aber es gibt natürlich noch erheblich mehr, was getan werden muss, und darum bitte ich Sie hiermit um die Wiederwahl, gemäß den Statuten, die drei weitere Jahre ermöglichen.

Ich möchte gern das vollenden, was zu meinen Hauptzielen innerhalb der FISM gehört, um das Niveau der Zauberkunst zu verbessern und um die Qualität der Zauberkünstler anzuheben:

* das FISM „Competition Compliance System“ (CCS) (Wettbewerb Bewertungs System) mit dem Regeln und Dienste den angeschlossenen Vereinen zur Verfügung gestellt werden können, um die Wettbewerbskandidaten besser zu qualifizieren und um sie als von FISM ausgezeichnete Künstler zu fördern;

* das FISM Jury Qualification System (JQS), mit dem qualifizierte Juroren gesucht und ausgebildet werden können, um einheitliche und hochqualifizierte Bewertungen überall auf der Welt zu ermöglichen;

* um auch weiterhin FISM außerhalb der Zauberwelt zu fördern, was die Zusammenarbeit mit Akademien und Universitäten einschließt.

Der FISM Vorstand arbeitet bereits an all diesen Aufgaben und der Erfolg dieser Projekte ist für mich von großer Bedeutung. Ich möchte Ihnen allen und dem Vorstand für Ihre Unterstützung in den letzten Jahren sehr danken. Es ist eine großartige Belohnung für die wirklich harte Arbeit, die wir alle geleistet haben.

Dear Mr. President,

My name is Ángel De Vicente and, like you, I love magic. That's why I ask you for just a few minutes of your time to assess my candidacy for one of the vice-presidencies of our organization.

I was born in Madrid in 1959 in a middle class family.

Since I was very young, I have felt the need to organize groups in different activities in which I felt passionate. For example, when I was 14 years old, I showed up at the Spanish Football Federation to create a club. The employee of the federation, smiling, told me that I should wait until I came of legal age, far from abandoning my dream, I asked him for the necessary documents and I convinced my father and his friends to be the ones who formed the Board of Directors. I looked for players and sponsors and my dream became reality: At. Europe. A reality that has lasted 40 years.

During my studies as a Mining Engineer, that same drive led me to take on responsibilities as Technical Secretary of the Madrid Federation and the Spanish Federation of University Sports under the presidency of A. Pérez Rubalcaba who, after some years, would become Vice President of the Government of Spain.

I had to reconcile my studies with some work, so when I was 16 years old I started working in the print shop of my family, which would become an inseparable companion for 36 years. There I started sweeping until I became the Commercial and Financial Director. All a life experience. Meanwhile, I was creating other companies in different sectors:

Injury Recovery Centers (2000) School of Massage (2001) Production of events and shows (2009) Magic store (2011) School of magic (2012)

My passion for Real Madrid C.F. has taken me to be part of one of the consulting bodies of the club in my capacity as president of one of the most emblematic partnerships: "La Cátedra".

But, of course, my great passion has been MAGIC. As happened to many children of my generation, Magic came to my eyes through television programs where great Spanish magicians such as Juan Tamariz and Pepe Carroll delighted all of us. Spellbound by the Magic, I could only follow it as a spectator because of my professional responsibilities. Coincedentally, on one of my birthdays, a little boy of 12 years old amazed me with his illusionist skills and made me think: "why not me?". In a few months I began taking Magic classes and taking the entrance exam to the Madrid Circle of Illusionists. Little by little the Magic was taking over my life.

In 2011, I left behind all my business commitments to dedicate myself professionally to Magic. From that moment magic encompassed my life.

I have been a judge in several international competitions:

White Nights Perm-2010 Colomb D'Or Antibes-2014 Master of Magic St. Vincent-2014-2017-2018 FISM-Blackpool-2012 Flasoma Montevideo-2015 Flasoma Buenos Aires-2017 and this has allowed me to understand how important the qualification of Magical Art is. To work as a judge, far from being simple, is very rewarding when one realizes that it is done to qualify the Magical Art. On the other hand, as you know, competition is the main meaning of the FISM and this is an objective in which I completely agree.

I wanted to share these different undertakings with you because, I think, they show the depth of experience I have gathered over the years.

Hard work in areas like financial, commercial or public relations do not scare me.

Magic unites us and I am very excited to put my effort and experience at the service of our great passion so that FISM continues to grow even larger. I give you my word that my work from the Vice Presidency will not disappoint you.

Cher Président, Je m’appelle Ángel de Vicente et, comme vous, j’aime la magie. C’est pour cela que je vous prie de prendre quelques minutes pour évaluer ma candidature à une des vice- présidences de notre organisation. Je suis né en 1959 à Madrid au sein d’une famille de classe moyenne. Je me souviens que depuis tout petit j’ai ressenti cette envie d’apporter mes efforts et mon travail à des organisations auxquelles j’appartenais et aux activités que je réalisais avec passion. Comme, quand, à quatorze ans je me suis présenté à la Fédération Espagnole de Football pour créer un club et que l’employé du registre m’a dit en souriant que je devais attendre la majorité pour le faire. Loin d’abandonner mon rêve, je lui ai demandé aimablement les documents nécessaires et j’ai réussi à convaincre mon père et ses amis pour que ce soit eux qui soient le Conseil d’Administration. J’ai cherché alors des joueurs et des sponsors et mon rêve s’est réalisé : le At. Europa. Une réalité qui a duré 40 ans. Pendant mes études d’Ingénieur des Mines, cettemême envie m’a amené à assumer des responsabilités telles que Secrétaire Technique de la Fédération Madrilène et la Fédération Espagnole des Sports Universitaires sous la présidence de A. Pérez Rubalcaba qui quelques années aprèsestdevenu le Vice-président du Gouvernement Espagnol. Je devais concilier études et travail et c’est pour cela qu’à 16 ans j’ai commencé à travailler à l’imprimerie familiale, qui est devenue ma compagne pendant plus de 36 ans. J’y ai commencé comme balayeur et est devenu petit à petit Directeur Commercialet Financier. Tout une expérience vitale. Pendant ce temps-là, j’ai créé d’autre entreprises dans différents secteurs : Centres de récupérations des lésions (2000) École de massages (2001) Production de shows et d’évènements (2009) Boutique de magie (2011) École de magie (2012) Mapassion pour le Real Madrid C.F., a fait que je devienne une des personnesà consulter en qualité de Président d’un des clubs les plus emblématiques « La Cátedra ». Mais, bien sûr, ma plus grande passion a toujours été la MAGIE. Comme beaucoup d’enfants de ma génération la Magie est apparue dans ma vie grâce aux émissionstélévisées ou des magiciens espagnols comme Juan Tamariz ou Pepe Carroll nous régalaient de leurs spectacles. J’adorais la Magie, mais je la vivais comme spectateur car mes responsabilités professionnelles ne me permettaient pas de faire plus. Un événement m’a aidé, lors de mon anniversaire de mes 45 ans, un enfant de 12 ans m’a séduit avec ses habilités d’illusionniste et m’a fait penser « et pourquoi pas moi ? » Peu de temps après, je prenais des cours de Magie et je réalisais l’examen d’entrée du Cercle de Madrid de Prestidigitateurs. Peu à peu la Magie a pris une place importante dans ma vie. En 2011, je laissais tous mes compromis au sein des entreprises pour me consacrer professionnellement à la Magie. Depuis ce moment- là, je vis avec et pour elle. Estimado Presidente, mi nombre es Ángel de Vicente y, como usted, amo la magia. Por eso le pido tan solo unos minutos para que valore mi candidatura a una de las vicepresidencias de nuestra organización.

Nací en Madrid en 1959 en el seno de una familia de clase media. Recuerdo cómo desde bien pequeño he sentido inquietud por aportar mi trabajo y mi esfuerzo en las organizaciones a las que he pertenecido y en las actividades por las que he sentido pasión. Como cuando con 14 años me presenté en la Federación Española de Fútbol para crear un club. Cuando sonriendo el empleado del registro me dijo que debería esperar a la mayoría de edad, lejos de abandonar mi sueño, le pedí por favor los documentos necesarios y puse mi empeño en convencer a mi padre y a sus amigos para que fueran ellos los que formaran la Junta Directiva. Busqué jugadores y sponsors y mi sueño se convirtió en realidad: el At. Europa. Una realidad que ha durado 40 años.

Durante mis estudios de Ingeniero de Minas, esa misma inquietud me llevó a desempeñar responsabilidades como Secretario Técnico de la Federación Madrileña y Federación Española de Deporte Universitario bajo la presidencia de A. Pérez Rubalcaba quien, pasados los años, se convertiría en Vicepresidente del Gobierno de España.

Debía compatibilizar mis estudios con algún trabajo, por lo que con 16 años comencé a trabajar en la imprenta de mí familia, que se convertiría en compañera inseparable durante 36 años. Allí empecé barriendo hasta llegar a convertirme en el Director Comercial y Financiero. Toda una experiencia vital. Mientras tanto, fui creando otras empresas en diferentes sectores:

Mi pasión por el Real Madrid C.F. me ha llevado a formar parte de de los órganos de consulta del club madrileño en mi calidad de presidente de una de las peñas más emblemáticas: “La Cátedra”. Pero, por supuesto, mi gran pasión ha sido la MAGIA. Como les pasó a muchos niños y niñas de mi generación, la Magia llego a mi retina a través de los programas de televisión donde grandes magos españoles como Juan Tamariz o Pepe Carroll hacían las delicias de todos nosotros. Embelesado por la Magia, solamente podía seguirla como espectador debido a mis responsabilidades profesionales. Una casualidad, facilitó que en mi 45 cumpleaños un pequeño de 12 años me sedujera con sus habilidades de ilusionista y me hiciera pensar: “¿por qué yo no?”. En pocos meses me vi tomando clases de Magia y realizando el examen de ingreso al Círculo Madrileño de Prestidigitadores. Poco a poco la Magia se fue apoderando de mi vida.

En 2011, dejé atrás todos mis compromisos empresariales para dedicarme profesionalmente a la Magia. Desde ese momento vivo en torno a ella.

Un trabajo que está lejos de ser simple y que compensa el esfuerzo que se debe realizar, cuando uno se da cuenta de que está hecho para calificar el Arte Mágico. Por otro lado, como bien saben, la competencia es el sentido principal de la FISM y este es un objetivo en el que estoy completamente de acuerdo.

He querido compartir estas experiencias con usted porque, pienso, que me dan bagaje suficiente para obtener su confianza.

El trabajo duro en áreas como la financiera, la comercial o las relaciones públicas no me asustan.

La Magia nos une y tengo muchísima ilusión por poner mi esfuerzo y experiencia al servicio de nuestra gran pasión para que FISM siga haciéndose grande. Le doy mi palabra que mi trabajo desde la Vicepresidencia no le defraudará.

Mi chiamo Angel de Vicente e, come Te, amo la magía. Per questa ragione Ti chiedo un paio di minuti perchè possa comprendere la mia candidatura ad una delle vicepresidenze della nostra organizzazione ed in caso, come io spero, di appoggiarla.

Sono nato a Madrid nel 1959 nel seno di una famiglia di classe media. Ricordo come, giá da piccolo, ho sentito il bisogno di offrire il mio lavoro ed il mio sforzo alle organizzazioni a cui appartenevo ed alle attivitá per le quali sentivo passione. Come quando a 14 anni mi presentai alla Federazione Spagnola di Calcio per creare un club. Quando, sorridendo, l’impiegato del registro mi disse che dovevo aspettare di essere maggiorenne, lontano da abbandonare il mio sogno, gli chiesi i documenti necessari e cercai di convincere mio padre e i suoi amici perché fossero loro a formare Squadra. Cercai giocatori e sponsors ed il mio sogno divenne realtá: l’At.Europa. Una realtà che é durata 40 anni.

Durante i miei studi di Ingegnería Mineraria, questo stesso bisogno mi portó a svolgere con responsabilitá cariche quali Segretario Tecnico della Federazione Madrilena e Federazione Spagnola dello Sport Universitario sotto la presidenza di A. P. Rubalcaba che col passare degli anni divenne Vicepresidente del Governo di Spagna.

Desideravo completare i miei studi occupando il tempo libero con qualche lavoro e cosí a 16 anni incominciai a lavorare nella tipografia della mia famiglia, attività che divenne una compagna inseparabile per 36 anni. Incominciai spazzando i locali fino a diventarne il Direttore Commerciale e Finanziario. Un’esperienza vitale. Nel frattempo creai altre aziende in settori diversi: Centro di Ricuperazione di Lesioni (2000), Scuola di Massaggi (2001), Produzione di Eventi e Shows (2009), Negozio di Magìa (2011), Scuola di Magía (2012).

La mia passione per il Real Madrid C.F. mi ha portato a formar parte di uno degli organi di Consulenza del Club Madrileno in qualitá di Presidente della Peña la Cátedra, una delle piú rappresentative.

Ciononostante, la mia grande passione é stata sempre la MAGIA. Come é successo a tanti altri bambini della mia generazione, la Magía arrivó alla mia percezione tramite i programmi della televisione in cui grandi maghi spagnoli come Juan Tamariz o Pepe Carroll facevano quelle che sono per noi le “nostre delizie”. Affascinato dalla Magía, potevo solo seguirla come spettatore date le mie responsabilitá professionali. Il caso fece sí che un ragazzino di 12 anni mi ammaliasse con le sue abilitá d’illusionista. Ciò mi facesse pensare:”perché io no?” Pochi mesi dopo mi ritrovavo a presentarmi all’esame per entrare nel Circolo Madrileno dei Prestigiatori. Poco a poco la Magía si è impadronita della mia vita.

Nel 2011 ho lasciato tutti i miei impegni aziendali per dedicarmi professionalmente all’ Arte Magica. Da quel momento vivo intorno a questo Mondo!

Sehr geehrter Vorstand,

Ich heiße Ángel de Vicente und, wie Sie, liebe ich die Zauberkunst. Aus diesem Grund, bitte ich Sie um einige Minuten Ihrer Zeit, damit Sie meine Kandidatur zum zweiten Vorstand unseres Dachverbandes bewerten können.

Ich bin 1959 in Madrid geboren. Schon als kleiner Junge hatte ich stets das Bedürfnis Vereine zu leiten in denen ich selbst Mitglied war und meine Zeit für Interessen zu investieren für die ich eine echte Leidenschaft verspürte. Mit 14 ging ich zur Geschäftsstelle des spanischen Fußball Bundes, weil ich einen Verein gründen wollte. Der zuständige Mitarbeiter schaute mich lächelnd an und meinte ich müsse abwarten bis ich volljährig sei. Aber dadurch, dass ich meinen Traum auf gar keinen Fall aufgeben wollte, verlangte ich gleich alle erforderlichen Formulare und tat alles dafür meinen Vater und seine Freunde zu überzeugen den Vorstand dafür zu bilden. Daraufhin suchte ich nach Spielern und Sponsoren und mein Traum wurde zur Realität: der At. Europa. Eine Realität seit 40 Jahren!

Während meines Studiums zum Bergingenieur übernahm ich, aufgrund dieses Bedürfnisses, die Verantwortung als technischer Schriftführer für den Madrider und spanischen Hochschulsportverband, unter der Leitung von A. Pérez Rubalcaba. Letzterer wurde einige Jahre später zweiter spanischer Staatspräsident.

Es wurde dann Zeit mein Studium mit einem Beruf zu verbinden. So fing ich mit 16 Jahren an, in der Druckerei meiner Eltern zu arbeiten – eine unzertrennliche Partnerschaft die 36 Jahre andauerte. Dort fing ich mit kleinen Arbeiten an, bis ich den Posten als Vertriebs- und Finanzdirektor übernahm – eine wichtige Erfahrung. Meine Leidenschaft für den Fußballverein Real Madrid C.F. hat mir den Eintritt in eine Beratungseinheit des Clubs verschafft – meine neue Rolle als Präsident einer seiner symbolträchtigsten Partnerschaften: „La Cátedra.“

Aber natürlich blieb die MAGIE immer meine große Leidenschaft. Wie bei vielen anderen Jungen und Mädchen aus meiner Generation, entdeckte ich die Zauberkunst über Fernsehprogramme, in denen uns spanische Meistermagier wie Juan Tamariz oder Pepe Carroll großartig unterhielten. Obwohl ich von der Magie begeistert war, konnte ich sie aufgrund meiner geschäftlichen Verantwortungen nur als Zuschauer genießen. Durch einen Zufall, traf ich an meinem 45. Geburtstag einen 12-jährigen Jungen, der mich mit seiner Fingerfertigkeit verzauberte und mich auf folgenden Gedanken brachte: Warum nicht auch ich? Daraufhin nahm ich einige Monate lang Zauberunterricht um dann die Aufnahmeprüfung für den Madrider Zauberring zu absolvieren. Allmählich übernahm die Zauberei mein Leben.

Im Jahr 2011 gab ich sämtliche geschäftliche Verantwortungen auf um mich der Zauberkunst beruflich zu widmen. Von diesem Zeitpunkt an drehte sich alles um sie.

Diese Erfahrungen zeigten mir, wie wichtig die Bewertung der Zauberkunst als Wettbewerbsform ist. Die Arbeit als Jurymitglied ist wirklich nicht einfach, aber umso bereichernder, wenn man sich im Klaren ist, dass der Künstler für seine harte Arbeit belohnt wird. Wie Sie wissen, ist der Wettbewerb der eigentliche Sinn der FISM und dem stimme ich völlig zu.

Ich wollte diese Erfahrungen mit Ihnen teilen weil ich der Meinung bin, dass sie mir das nötige Wissen gegeben haben, um Ihr Vertrauen zu gewinnen.

Die harte Arbeit im Finanz-, kaufmännischen und PR-Bereich schreckt mich keineswegs ab. Die Zauberkunst vereint uns alle und ich freue mich darauf meinen Einsatz und meine Erfahrung zu Diensten unserer großen Leidenschaft einzubringen, um die FISM noch erfolgreicher zu gestalten. Ich gebe Ihnen mein Wort, dass Sie meine Arbeit als zweiter Vorsitzender nicht enttäuschen wird.

I would like to thank you in anticipation for the attention you will bring to this letter of motivation for a renewal of my mandate of vice-president in charge of Finance.

This allows me to present the work I have done during these last six years.

As far as I am concerned, this specific function doesn’t only consist to be a force of proposition but above all, a force of realization. This is what I have tried to do by bringing to the BOARD of the FISM my professional and technical proficiencies.

As a fully certified accountant, my first action was to standardize the accountancy of our Federation so that it can respond to the requests of the official services and present our accounts in a legal way (an Excel table not being a recognized form of accounting).

In the same idea of professionalization management, I set up a computer system allowing the follow up of the companies, members of the FISM, in terms of contribution and invoicing.

This system saves valuable time and minimizes the risk of errors. Possessing technical knowledge in the field of the Internet, I’ve been able to finalize tools that we often use:

• Sending Newsletters in the 4 official languages of the FISM, according to the requests of each representative. • The management and working of our online voting tool, allowing a better participation rate and greater legitimacy of decisions. The polls are in the 4 official languages. • The programming of a notation tool used at WCM in 2015, ECM 2017 and which will be implemented for WCM 2018 in Busan. • The programming of the Database allowing the management and the edition of the new FISM card which, in a few months of existence, has been distributed to more than 1800 members of FISM companies after control of these. • I am also fully involved in the project consisting to offer to magicians places of residence, in order to organize staging workshops and coaching their numbers and to help improve the magical level. I work, in particular, with the Roussigny Center in France which offers to welcome emerging artists in optimal conditions and at a lower cost.

This is an outline of what I do on a daily basis and I attach a great importance to answering all requests in the shortest possible time. This is how I understand my job in FISM and I shall continue to do so if you renew your trust.

Je vous remercie par avance de l’attention que vous porterez à cette lettre de motivation pour un renouvellement de mon mandat de vice-président chargé des finances.

Celle-ci me permet de vous présenter le travail que j’ai effectué durant ces six dernières années.

Pour moi, cette fonction spécifique ne consiste pas seulement à être une force de proposition, mais d’être avant tout une force de réalisation. Ce que je me suis efforcé de faire en apportant au BOARD de la FISM, mes compétences professionnelles et techniques.

Comptable diplômé, ma première action fut de normaliser la comptabilité de notre Fédération afin que celle-ci puisse répondre aux sollicitations des services officiels et présenter nos comptes d’une manière légale, un tableau Excel n’étant pas une forme de comptabilité reconnu.

Dans le même esprit de professionnalisation de la gestion, j’ai mis en place un système informatique permettant le suivi des sociétés membres de la FISM en termes de cotisation et de facturation. Ce système permet un gain de temps appréciable et limite au maximum les risques d’erreurs.

Possédant des connaissances techniques dans les domaines de l’Internet, de la P.A.O., du Graphisme et de la programmation de Bases de Données, j’ai pu ainsi finaliser plusieurs outils que nous utilisons au quotidien :

• L’envoi des Newsletters dans les 4 langues officielles de la FISM suivant les demandes de chaque représentant. • La gestion et le fonctionnement de notre outils de vote en ligne, permettant un meilleur taux de participation et une plus grande légitimité des décisions. Les scrutins se déclinant dans les 4 langues officielles. • La programmation d’un outil de notation utilisé lors du WCM 2015, de l’ECM 2017 et sera en œuvre pour le WCM 2018 à Busan. • La programmation de la Base de données permettant la gestion et l’édition de la nouvelle Carte FISM qui en quelques mois d’existence a été diffusée à plus de 1 800 membres de Sociétés FISM après contrôle de celles-ci. • Je m’investis aussi pleinement dans le projet visant à offrir aux Magiciens des lieux de résidences, afin d’organiser des stages de mise en scène et de coachings de leurs numéros afin de contribuer à l’amélioration du niveau magique. Je travaille notamment avec le Centre de Roussigny en France qui propose d’accueillir les artistes en devenir dans des conditions optimales et à moindre coût. • Ceci est un aperçu de ce que fais au quotidien et j’attache une grande importance à répondre à toutes les sollicitations dans un délai le plus court possible.

C’est ainsi que je conçois mon rôle au sein de la FISM et que je continuerai à l’effectuer si vous me renouvelez votre confiance.

Estimado Presidente, Querido Delegado,

Antes de todo, les agradezco vuestro interés a mi letra de motivación por un nuevo mandato de vicepresidente encargado de finanzas. Y esta, me permite presentarles el trabajo que he efectuado estos últimos seis años. Para mí, esta función específica no consiste únicamente a ser una fuerza de proposición, ella consiste antes de todo a una fuerza de realización, y que yo me he esforzado de hacer, dando mis competencias profesionales y técnicas a BOARD de la FISM. En calidad de contador diplomado, mi primera acción ha sido normalizar las cuentas de nuestra federación afín de responder a los pedidos oficiales, y presentar las cuentas de manera legal, puesto que presentadas en Excel, no es una forma de contabilidad reconocida. Conservando este espíritu de profesionalización de la gestión, he creado un sistema informático que permite acompañar las empresas que hacen parte de la FISM, sobretodo tratándose de cotizaciones y facturación. Este sistema permite ganar tiempo y limitar los riesgos al máximo.

• Mis conocimientos técnicos en internet, PAO, y programación de bases de datos, me han permitido perfeccionar los útiles que empleamos cada día: • El envío de Newsletters en los 4idiomas oficiales de la FISM según los pedidos de cada miembro. • La gestión y el funcionamiento de nuestra herramienta informática de voto en línea, el cual ha permitido una mejor participación y más legitimidad de las decisiones. Los escrutinios son impartidos en los 4 idiomas oficiales. • La programación es un útil de notación utilizado por el VCM 2015, del ECM 2017 y será utilizado por el VCM 2018 en Busan. • La programación de la Base de datos ha permitido la gestión y la edición de la nueva carta FISM, la cual existe desde algunos meses, a sido difundida a más de 1800 de las empresas FISM, una vez controladas.

Me he invertido plenamente el proyecto de ofrecer a los magos lugares de estadía, con el fin de organizar cursos de teatro y de entrenamiento de sus números con el fin contribuir a mejorar el nivel de la magia. Yo trabajo principalmente con el Centro de Roussigny en Francia que propone el acojo de los futuros artistas en las mejores condiciones y un bajo costo.

Esto es un resumen de mi trabajo de cada día y doy mucha importancia a la respuesta de todas las demandas en los mejores plazos. Es de esta manera que yo veo mi rol en la FISM, y que voy a continuar a realizar si vosotros me acordáis vuestra confianza.

Ich danke Ihnen im Voraus für Ihr Interesse an dieses Motivationsschreiben für die Verlängerung meiner Amtszeit als Vizepräsident Finanzen.

Es erlaubt mir, Ihnen die Arbeit zu präsentieren, die ich in den letzten sechs Jahren geleistet habe.

Für mich ist diese spezifische Funktion nicht nur eine Mithilfe bei Vorschlägen, sondern vor allem eine Umsetzungskapazitäten entwickelt. Was ich versuchte, weil ich dem FISM BOARD, meine beruflichen und technischen Fähigkeiten brachte.

Als Diplom-Buchhalter, war meine erste Maßnahme, die Buchhaltung unseres Verbandes zu standardisieren, so dass es auf die Anfragen der offiziellen Dienste reagieren und unsere Konten in einer legalen Weise präsentieren kann, ist eine Excel-Tabelle keine Form der Rechnungslegung anerkannt.

Im gleichen Geist des professionellen Managements habe ich ein EDV-System installiert, dass verwaltet der Mitgliedsunternehmen der FISM in Bezug auf die Beitrags-und Rechnungsstellung. Dieses System spart wertvolle Zeit und minimiert das Fehlerrisiko.

Mit technischen Kenntnissen in den Bereichen Internet, P.A.O., Grafik-Design und Datenbank- Programmierung, konnte ich einige Tools, die wir täglich gebrauchen, zu finalisieren:

• Die Versendung von „Newsletters“ in den 4 offiziellen Sprachen des FISM entsprechend den Anfragen jedes Vertreters. • Verwaltung und Betrieb unserer Online-Wahltools, die eine bessere Teilnahmequote und größere Legitimität von Entscheidungen ermöglichen. Die Abstimmungen finden in den vier Amtssprachen statt. • Die Programmierung eines Scoring-Tools, das während der WCM 2015, der ECM 2017 und für die WCM 2018 in Busan eingesetzt wird. • Die Programmierung der Datenbank ermöglicht die Verwaltung und die Ausgabe der neuen FISM- Karte, die in einigen Monaten an mehr als 1800 Mitglieder von mitgliedsverbände der FISM verteilt wurde. • Ich bin auch voll in das Projekt involviert, um Residenzen anzubieten, um Inszenierungen und Coachings von Zauberer Acts zu organisieren, um zur Verbesserung des magischen Levels beizutragen. Ich arbeite insbesondere mit dem Roussigny Center in Frankreich zusammen, das zukünftige Künstler unter optimalen Bedingungen und zu geringeren Kosten willkommen heißt.

To the Presidents of the FISM member-societies/delegates in the General Assembly

Dear Delegate in the FISM General Assembly, I am happy to tell you that I have applied for the post of International Vice-President of the FISM for the period 2018-2024. The BoD will officially let you know and send you my cv, which is more or less an official document, in which I have summarized my life- and job experiences. Nice to know, but it doesn’t show you my ambitions and driving forces. Let me tell you more about those. My motivation for my application is to actively contribute to the enhancement of the Art of Magic. I do not apply for the honor, fame or money. All I want is keeping FISM in pace with the younger generation and with the fast social, economic and technological changes. For this all, FISM should be governed by young professional leaders who do understand these changes. Without revealing my real age I can confess that it is below 45 years. That not only means that I am young enough to understand the changes, but that I am also part of the generation that makes the changes. My professionalism is apparent by my experiences as a psychologist, actress and active magician. In my cv you may have read how I have managed to rejuvenate and update the Russian Association of Magicians. As I said there I am confident that I can help to do the same for FISM. I have written some of the things I want to work on when I will be elected as FISM’s International Vice-President. Please take a look at it. I fully understand that I cannot fulfill all of my dreams, neither are they promises. I shall certainly discuss them with you before putting them into daily practice. There is no job description for an International FISM President or Vice-President, but in my opinion FISM needs leaders who are Young, Energetic, Organizer, People-oriented, Honest, not money-driven, Familiar with FISM’s traditions and culture multiple FISM Jury member and …….. It seems to me that Invention category should be split in two: invention and innovation (often we can see a brilliant version of a trick, which was based on a known method, but new technologies make a trick look like something new, usually such a trick is not given a prize) d. Awards for the “outside world”. E.g. awards for journalists, inventors, directors, etc. e. A crew of professionals at the backstage: sound, lights, video shooting (for a live production on screens during competitions). f. Time screens: should be visual to judges, audience and contestants; we all should see clearly, when a countdown started and ended. g. Chers Délégués de l'Assemblée Générale de la FISM, Je suis heureuse de vous faire savoir que je vous propose ma candidature au poste de Vice- Présidente Internationale de la FISM pour 2018-2024. Le Présidium vous le fera savoir officiellement et vous communiquera mon curriculum vitae avec un récapitulatif de ma vie ainsi que de mes expériences professionnelles. Il est important que vous connaissiez mes compétences et expériences en tant que magicienne, psychologue et actrice, mais j'aimerais aussi vous parler de mes objectifs et priorités pour la FISM. Ma motivation principale est de contribuer activement à l'avancement de l'Art de la Magie, et non pour le prestige ou la renommée. Je veux voir la FISM marcher de pair avec la jeune génération de magiciens en suivant les changements constants de notre monde qu’ils soient économiques, sociaux ou technologiques. La FISM doit être dirigée par une nouvelle génération de leaders qui comprennent ces changements. En tant que personne de moins de 45 ans, je suis assez jeune pour comprendre les dernières tendances, mais je fais aussi partie de la génération de ceux qui savent comment appliquer ces changements. Je pense que la FISM doit s'adapter à un environnement qui change constamment et être reconnu en dehors du monde de la magie. Comment pouvons-nous atteindre ces objectifs ?

I. Visibilité 1. Spectacles a) Des spectacles pour le grand public avec les gagnants FISM : Comme par exemple un show comparable à The Illusionists, ou un Bal Annuel de Noël – l’association d’un gala avec un dîner- spectacle). b) Projets collaboratifs : Une association de la magie avec d'autres arts populaires comme la musique. c) Un film documentaire sur la FISM d) Expositions de tableaux sur la magie dans les galeries d'art e) Expositions de photographies dans la ville où les Championnats du Monde de Magie FISM se déroulent.

2. Site Internet FISM a) Notre site internet doit devenir un endroit stratégique où trouver toutes les informations à propos de la magie. b) Une page présidentielle avec communication régulière du Président de la FISM c) Des magiciens professionnels qui proposent des conseils aux enfants et parents sur la façon de devenir magicien d) Une session régulière de questions-réponses pour les magiciens e) Des bloggers officiels FISM du monde entier sur YouTube et Instagram f) Des courts-métrages sur des événements spéciaux et l'histoire de la magie g) Un musée de la magie en ligne

II. Championnats du Monde de Magie FISM 1. Mise en place des Championnats du Monde de Magie Junior FISM 2. De nouvelles catégories : Prix du Public, Magie télévisée, Magie de rue, Cardistry, Vidéos à succès et applications électroniques. 3. La catégorie “Inventions“ peut être divisée en deux : Invention et Innovation. Nous voyons souvent une très bonne version d'un tour basé sur une méthode existante, mais le plus souvent, ce tour ne reçoit pas de prix. 4. Des prix pour les profanes qui assurent la promotion de la magie tels les journalistes, les inventeurs, metteurs en scène, etc. 5. Une équipe de professionnels à la fois en coulisses et à la technique pour tous les spectacles de la FISM que ce soit pour le son, les lumières et la vidéo. 6. Des écrans visibles qui montrent clairement le début et la fin du temps imparti à la fois pour les juges, le public et les concurrents. 7. Des bourses de frais de déplacement pour aider les magiciens talentueux à concourir.

III. Jury de la FISM 1. Améliorer la qualité des juges et les procédures de jugement. 2. Des formations pour les juges. 3. Des règles afin d’éviter que les officiels FISM ne puissent interférer pendant les procédures de jugement. 4. Une flexibilité pour permettre des exceptions compréhensibles en cas d'erreurs au cours d'une représentation ou d’une routine.

IV. Éducation 1. Une Université de la Magie où les étudiants en magie peuvent assister à des cours d’arts de théâtre, danse, littérature, histoire, dessin, origami, couture, charpenterie, soudure, etc... 2. Des ateliers dans différents domaines tels que le marketing pour aider les magiciens à amener leur art et leur carrière dans des sphères plus élevées. 3. Une bibliothèque et vidéothèque en ligne. 4. Le développement de boîtes de magie plus modernes pour une nouvelle génération d'enfants.

V. Promotion des Gagnants FISM Les gagnants à la FISM doivent être promus comme des célébrités dans le monde du spectacle.

VI. Divers 1. Des pages Wikipédia sur la FISM 2. Des flash mobs. 3. Une campagne de badge : Si quelqu'un voit un badge, il peut demander à voir un tour de magie gratuitement. Cela peut être dans le cadre d’un congrès de magie ou comme une tendance internationale à travers le monde. 4. Queridos delegados de la Asamblea General de FISM Tengo el agrado de decirles que he aplicado para el puesto de la Vice Presidente Internacional de la FISM para el periodo 2018-2024.

El BoD selo comunicara oficialmente les enviará mi cv que es un document mas o menos official, en el que resumo la experiencia de mi vida y mi trabajo. Es bueno conocerlo, pero este documanto no refleja mis ambiciones y mi fuerza motivadora. Dejeme hablarles mas sobre ello. Mi motivación para mi aplicación es contribuir de manera activa al reforzamiento del Arte de magia. Yo no me postulo por el honor, la fama o el dinero. Lo que quiero es mantener FISM al paso de generaciones mas jóvenes y con cambios sociales, económicos y técnicos vertiginosos. Por esto la FISM debe ser gobernada por lideres profesionales y jovenes quienes entiendes estos cambios. Sin revelarles mi edad puedo decirles que tengo menos de 45 años. Eso no solo significa que soy lo sufiecientemente joven para entender estos cambios, sino que tambien formo parte de la generacion que realiza estos cambios. Mi profesionalismo se refleja por mi experiencia como psicologa, artista y mago. En mi cv ustedes pueden leer como logree rejuvenecer y actualizar la Asociacion de Magos de Rusia. Como dije, estoy segura de hacer lo mismo para FISM.. Escribi algunas de las cosas en las que me gustaria trabajar cuando sere electa Vice Presidenta Internacional de FISM. Por favor revisenlas. Estoy consciente de que no puedo realizar todos mis suenos, y no son promesas. Seguramente las discutire con ustedes antes de implantarlas como practica diaria. No existen requisitos para ser Presidente o Vice Presidente internacional de FISM, pero considero que FISM necesita lideres quienes son: Jovenes, Energicos, Organizadores, Orientados hacia las personas, honestos, no motivados por dinero, conocedores de la cultura tradicional de FISM y miembro del jurado de FISM y… mujer! Hablando modestamente, considero que cumplo con estos requisitos y espero que esten de acuerdo y voten por mi. No los decepcioonare.

An die PräsidentInnen der FISM-Mitgliedvereinigungen / die Delegierten der Generalversammlung

Sehr geehrte/r Delegierte der FISM-Generalversammlung, es ist mir ein Vergnügen Sie zu informieren, dass ich mich um den Posten des Internationalen Vizepräsidenten/-in der FISM in dem Zeitraum 2018-2024 beworben habe. Der Aufsichtsrat wird Sie förmlich benachrichtigen und Ihnen meinen Lebenslauf zukommen lassen. Mein Lebenslauf ist ein mehr oder weniger offizielles Dokument, wo ich meine Lebens- und Berufserfahrungen zusammengefasst habe. Es ist schön zu wissen, aber er bringt meine Ambitionen und treibende Kräfte nicht zum Vorschein. Lassen Sie mich Ihnen mehr davon zu erzählen. Die Motivation hinter meiner Bewerbung ist zu der Förderung der magischen Kunst aktiv beizutragen. Ich bewerbe mich nicht wegen Ehre, Ruhms oder Geldes. Mein einziges Bestreben ist es sicherzustellen, dass die FISM Schritt mit der jüngeren Generation und den schnellen sozialen, wirtschaftlichen und technologischen Veränderungen hält. Damit es verwirklicht werden kann, soll die FISM von jungen professionellen Führungspersönlichkeiten geleitet werden, die diese Veränderungen wirklich begreifen. Ohne mein Alter bloßzulegen, kann ich offen sagen, dass es unter 45 ist. Das bedeutet nicht nur, dass ich jung genug bin, um diese Veränderungen zu erfassen. Ich bin auch Teil der Generation, die diese Veränderungen ins Leben ruft. Beweise meiner Professionalität sind meine Erfahrungen als Psychologin, Schauspielerin und aktive Magierin. Sie können meinem Lebenslauf entnehmen, wie ich die Russische Assoziation der Zauberkünstler erfolgreich wiederbeleben und modernisieren konnte. Wie in dem Lebenslauf erwähnt, bin ich überzeugt, dass ich dabei helfen kann, das gleiche für die FISM zu tun. Ich habe einige von den Sachen zusammengefasst, mit denen ich mich als Internationale Vizepräsidentin der FISM beschäftigen möchte. Bitte werfen Sie einen Blick darauf. Es ist mir völlig klar, dass ich nicht alle meine Träume realisieren kann, und das sind auch keine Versprechen. Ich werde sie natürlich mit Ihnen besprechen, bevor sie im Alltag verwirklicht werden. Es gibt keine Stellenbeschreibung für die Position des Internationalen Präsidenten/-in oder Vizepräsidenten/-in der FISM, aber meines Erachtens braucht die FISM Führungspersönlichkeiten, die jung, tatkräftig, organisatorisch versiert, menschenfreundlich, ehrlich, nicht geldgetrieben, mit Traditionen und Kultur der FISM gut vertraut, mehrfache FISM Jury-Mitglieder und …….. weiblich sind! Meiner bescheidenen Meinung nach, treffe ich die meisten dieser Anforderungen. Ich hoffe Sie werden der gleichen Meinung sein und Ihre Stimme für mich abgeben. Ich werde Sie nicht enttäuschen!

Zukunft der FISM: Meine Träume und Vision Ich habe einen Traum… Ich wünsche mir, dass FISM-Meisterschaften so viele Zuschauer haben wie die Olympischen Spiele. Ich wünsche mir, dass die magische Kunst so viel Liebe und Anerkennung genießt wie klassische Musik und ebenso populär wird wie Pop- und Rockmusik. “Eine Person ohne Vision geht immer in die Vergangenheit zurück.”

- Anonym Die FISM soll sich an die sich ändernde Umgebung anpassen und ihren Wiedererkennungswert außerhalb der Welt der Magie steigern. Wie können wir diese Ziele erreichen? Sichtbarkeit Shows a. Galaschauen von FISM-Gewinnern für die breite Öffentlichkeit. (Noch besser, wenn wir eine Schau wie The Illusionists machen könnten. Eine Alternative ist jährlicher Weihnachtsball – eine Kombination aus Galaschau und Dinnerschau.) b. Online-Sessions “Fragen und Antworten”. d. Offizielle FISM Blogger auf der ganzen Welt (YouTube, Instagram). e. Kurze Videos über besondere Veranstaltungen und Daten rund ums Thema Magie. f. Online-Museum. FISM-Meisterschaften a. Einführung der Juniorenweltmeisterschaften FISM JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS. b. Neue Auszeichnungskategorien: Publikumspreis (Laienzuschauerwahl), TV-Magie (Zach King), Straßenmagie (wahre Straßenmagie), Cardistry, Instagramformat (zum Beispiel, acht Sekunden lange Videos), E-App. c. Meiner Meinung nach sollte die Erfindungskategorie in zwei aufgeteilt werden: Erfindung und Innovation. (Wir sehen oft eine großartige Version eines Tricks, die sich zwar auf einer bekannten Methode basiert, die neuen Technologien verleihen aber dem Trick ein neues Erscheinungsbild. Meistens bleibt eine solcher Trick ohne Auszeichnung.) d. Auszeichnungen für die “Außenwelt”, insbesondere für Journalisten, Erfinder, Regisseure usw. e. Ein professionelles Backstage-Team: Ton, Licht, Filmen (für Live-Produktion auf Bildschirmen während Wettbewerbe). f. Die Zeittafeln sollen für Jury, Zuschauer und Wettbewerber gut sichtbar sein; wir alle sollen klar sehen können, wann der Countdown startet and endet. g. Stipendium für talentierte Zauberkünstler, die an den Wettbewerben nicht teilnehmen, da sie sich die Reisekosten nicht leisten können. FISM-Jury Die Qualität der JurorInnen und des Bewertungsprozederes verbessern. a. Kurse für JurorInnen. b. FISM-Angestellte dürfen in den Prozess nicht eingreifen. c. Magie ist kein Sport, es soll deswegen Raum für erklärbare Ausnahmen geben. Bildung a. Universität der Magie (nicht einfach eine Schule). Neben Magie sollen die Studenten in Theaterkunst, Tanzen, Literatur, Geschichte, Malen, Origami, Nähen, Tischlerei, Schweißen usw. unterrichtet werden. b. Workshops auf unterschiedlichen Gebieten (vom Bau bis zum Marketing), was Zauberkünstler dabei unterstützen kann, ihre Kunst auf ein neues Niveau zu bringen. c. Digitale Bibliothek (Bücher und DVDs). d. Entwicklung moderner Magiesets für die neue Kindergeneration. Werbung für die FISM-Meisterschaftsgewinner FISM-Gewinner sollen wie Stars gefördert und präsentiert werden. (Wenn wir das tun, werden auch die anderen bald die gleiche Einstellung ihnen gegenüber verinnerlichen.)

Sonstiges 1. FISM-Wikipedia 2. Flashmobs wie zum Beispiel “Abzeichenkampagne” – jeder kann die Abzeichen tragende Personen um einen kostenfreien Trick bitten (wir können das im Rahmen der Zauberkongressen ODER international in der ganzen Welt tun). 3. Internetspaß a) Lustige Magic Apps für Handys. b) Zauberratespiel (wie bei FB: man antwortet einige Fragen und findet heraus, welcher Magier man sein könnte). Es ist eine Möglichkeit, mehr über die Geschichte der Magie zu erzählen. c) GIFs. d) Aufkleber. 4. FISM-Wohltätigkeitsprogramme a. Unterstützung von bedürftigen Zauberer. b. Soziale Programme.

Chers présidents et délégués…

J’ai toujours pensé que dans la vie il faut être acteur de son avenir !

Dans quelques mois, vous allez devoir élire les Vice-Présidents de la FISM.

Je suis présent à vos côtés depuis bien longtemps, et c’est toujours avec la même conviction que je souhaite continuer à poursuivre mon investissement et m’engager plus encore au sein de la FISM en me portant officiellement candidat à sa Vice-Présidence.

Il s’agit d’une décision importante dont j’ai saisi tout le sens et que j’ai tenu à prendre en parfait accord avec mon épouse Corinne.

Je suis certain que vous allez très prochainement recevoir beaucoup (trop) de pages à lire c’est pourquoi plutôt que d’écrire un long texte avec une profusion de détails, je préfère être plus concis en vous donnant surtout ma vision générale de la FISM.

Il y a quelques jours j’ai envoyé mon CV attestant ainsi de mon expérience dans de nombreux domaines notamment d’organisation et de gestion. Je souhaite pouvoir mettre ce potentiel au service du développement de la FISM tout en respectant les règles et l’ensemble des acteurs de celle-ci.

Je suis quelqu’un d’ouvert avec les capacités de mener à bien les missions qui me seront confiées.

Je considère que les buts de la FISM sont essentiellement : La FORMATION des magiciens, leur INFORMATION, leur EDUCATION, la PROMOTION et la DEFENSE DE L’ART MAGIQUE et de son PATRIMOINE.

La FISM doit être capable de rassembler toutes celles et ceux qui partagent la même passion pour la Magie en leur transmettant le fameux sentiment d’appartenance, l’esprit d’excellence, le respect des règles pour une bonne pratique de notre Art.

La FISM doit être un lieu de rencontres, d’échanges, de débats, mais aussi un espace d’amitié et de convivialité. Elle a plus que jamais besoin du soutien de tous ceux qui l’aiment, de tous 1

ceux qui aiment la Magie, car comme je vous l’ai dit, pour compter demain, elle doit avancer, et pour cela la mobilisation de toutes les énergies lui sera nécessaire.

Nous devons donner à la FISM une plus grande visibilité auprès du grand public. Pour cela, elle doit être plus présente dans les média (Télévision, journaux, Facebook, Tweeter…), communiquant largement et faisant la promotion des championnats d’Europe te du Monde, nos concurrents et nos champions du monde FISM.

C’est pourquoi je souhaite entre autres travailler sur :

- La création d’Equipes Nationales de magie (sur le modèle des Equipes de France de Magie de scène et de close-up de la FFAP) proposant à leurs membres de travailler avec des Maitres de stage spécialisés dans différents domaines (Théâtre, danse, mime, son et lumière, mise en scène, acteurs, auteurs, metteurs en scène, décorateurs, maquilleurs, techniciens…)

- Le mode de sélection dans chaque pays des candidats à la FISM.

- La protection de la propriété intellectuelle.

- Les relations avec les télévisions

- Aider les présidents/délégués à être de véritables ambassadeurs de la FISM

- Créer des critères de labélisation et d’accréditation FISM pour des spectacles et événement magiques internationaux, en y incluant des règles précises d’utilisation du logo de la FISM.

- Continuer à former les juges internationaux FISM.

- Créer un magazine FISM en PDF (consultable sur le site de la FISM),

- Collecter, mettre à jour et diffuser des informations internationales (création d’un calendrier international des événements magiques…) - Aider au quotidien notre Président FISM dans sa mission

J’aurai ainsi à cœur de travailler en collaboration et en concertation non seulement avec les autres membres du Board de la FISM mais également avec vous toutes et tous. Parce que l’environnement magique et les conditions d’exercice de notre Art sont différents dans chaque pays et parce que je pense que même lorsqu’on a des idées, la réussite et le succès sont un travail d’équipe.

Soyez persuadés que si vous m’accordez votre confiance je m’engage à travailler activement à la promotion de la FISM aussi bien en défendant ses propres valeurs, qu’en défendant celles de la magie, notamment au travers de sa qualité et de son patrimoine.

Cette écoute et cette collaboration me semblent indispensables au bon fonctionnement de la FISM pour satisfaire au maximum aux doléances de chacun de ses membres et futurs membres. Elles seront utiles à une discussion plus stratégique relative à l’évolution de notre Art et à ce que peut et pourra apporter la FISM non seulement à ses membres mais également la Magie toute entière. Dear presidents and delegates…

I always thought that in the life it is necessary to be an actor of its future!

Within a few months you will have to elect new FISM Vice Presidents. I am present by your side for quite a long time, and it is with pleasure and conviction I wish to keep pursuing my investment and committing me much more within FISM by carrying me officially candidate in a Vice-Presidency position.

Of course I realise how important this decision is and I was anxious to take it in perfect agreement with my wife Corinne.

I’m sure you’ll receive too many pages to read and in spite of writing a long text with most details I prefer to be shorter and give you my general vision of FISM.

A few days ago I sent my CV showing my experience in several fields. I want to harness that potential to contribute to the development of FISM, respecting its rules and all actors.

I am open enough and commited to bring to a successful conclusion the missions which will be entrusted to me.

I consider FISM purposes as: TRAINING, INFORMATION, EDUCATION, PROMOTION AND DEFENSE OF MAGIC HERITAGE.

FISM must be able to gather all those who share the same passion for Magic transmitting them membership values, spirit of excellence, respect for the rules of good practice of our Art.

FISM has to be a forum for the exchange of information and cultural values, debates, but also a space of friendship and user-friendliness. It needs more than ever the support of all those who like it, of all those who like Magic, because if we want FISM to matter tomorrow, it has to keep going. And so the mobilization of all the energies are necessary for that.

Our Federation must be given higher visibility, being more present in media (TV, newspapers, Facebook, tweeter…), communicating and promoting for example about our European and world championships, our competitors and of course our FISM prize-winners.

That’s why I would like to work on :

- the creation of National Magic teams (on the model of the French FFAP stage and close-up magic teams) proposing to its members to work withcoaches in different fields (as theatre, danse, mime, lights and sound,comedy, actors, authors, directors, set designers, make-up artists, technicians),

- The method of selecting FISM competitors in each country,

- protection of intellectual property,

- TV relations,

- Help presidents/delegates to become real ambassadors of the FISM.

- Create FISM accreditations criteria for magic shows and events, including rules for the use of the FISM logo,

- Plan to continue the training of juges.

- Creation of a FISM magazine (PDF on the FISM website ),

- Collection, maintenance and dissemination of base informations (international magic events’calendar…).

- Help everyday our FISM President in his mission.

I shall be eager to work in collaboration and in dialogue with the other members of the board but also with you all. Because magic environment is different in each country and because I think that even if ones have ideas, success is a team work !

Be sure that if I get your support I make a commitment to work actively on the promotion of the FISM as well as defending its values, defending Magic, its quality and its heritage.

This listening and that collaboration seems to me essential to the smooth running of FISM in order to satisfy most of the wishes of each of his members and future members. They will be useful for strategic discussion about the evolution of our Art and about what FISM can do and will make not only for his members but also to the whole Magic itself.

Liebe Präsidenten und Delegierte,

Ich habe immer gedacht, dass man im Leben aktiv seine Zukunft gestalten muss.

In ein paar Monate werden Sie die Vize-Präsidenten der FISM wählen.

Seit Jajren stehe ich Ihnen zur Seite seit Jahren und mit der gleichen Überzeugung möchte ich mein Engagement fortsetzen und vertiefen, indem ich mich als Vizepräsident bewerbe.

Es handelt sich um eine wichtige Entscheidung, deren Tragweite mir bewusst ist und die ich in Absprache mit meiner Ehefrau getroffen habe.

Ich bin mir sicher dass Sie demnächst viele (zu) lange Bewerbungen zu lesen bekommen werden, deswegen möchte ich Ihnen vor allem meine Auffassung der FISM darstellen.

Vor ein paar Tagen habe ich Ihnen meinen Lebenslauf zu kommen lassen, aus dem Sie meine Erfahrung im Bereich der Organisation und Verwaltung entnehmen können.

Ich wünsche mir sehr, meine Fähigkeiten in den Dienst der FiSM für die Weiterentwicklung zu stellen und dabei die Regeln und die aktiven Mitglieder zu achten.

Ich bin sehr offen und kann die mir anvertrauten Aufgaben problemlos bewätigen.

Ich betrachte mein Ziel für die FISM die Zauberer auszubilden, sie zu informieren und für die Zauberkunst und deren Kulturgut zu werben und sie zu schützen.

Die FISM soll in der Lage sein, alldiejenige, deren Leidenschaft die Zauberkunst ist zu vereinen, indem man Ihnen das besondere und berühmte Zugehörigkeitsgefühl, den Geist der Excellence und die Achtung unserer Regel vermittelt, für eine gute Ausübung unserer Kunst.

Die FISM soll sowohl ein Ort der Begegnung, des Austausches, der Freundchaft und Gastfreundschaft als auch ein Ort der Debatte sein. Sie braucht mehr denn je die Unterstützung ihrer Anhänger, denn sie muss sich weiterentwickeln, um weiterhin eine Rolle in der Zukunft zu spielen. Dafür braucht sie all unsere Kraft.

Wir müssen dafür sorgen, dass die FISM und deren Rolle in der Öffentlichkeit bekannter wird. Dafür muss sie in den Medien ( Fernsehen, Zeitungen, Facebook, Twitter usw .) mehr vertreten sein, um für Europa- und Weltmeisterschaften zu werben.

Aus diesen Gründen möchte ich unter anderem an Folgendem arbeiten :

- an der Bildung von Nationalmanschaften der Zauberkunst, nach dem Modell der Nationalmanschaft in Frankreich, der Bühnenzauberkunst und des closeup von der FFAP, deren Mitglieder mit Praktikumsleitern arbeiten könnten, die in verschiedenen Bereichen spezialisiert sind (Theater, tanz, Mimen, Lichtbjnd Ton, Inszenierung, Schauspieler, Schminker, Techniker ...)

- an den Auswahlkriterien der FISM für Kandidaten in jedem Land

- an das Schützen des intellektuellen Eigentums

- an den Beziehungen zum Fernsehen

- den Präsidenten und deren Vertretern helfen, richtige Botschafter der FISM zu sein

- internationale Richter der FISM weiterhin auszubilden

- eine Zeitschrift der FSMI gründen, die im PDF online auf der FISM -Seite zu lesen wäre

- Internationale Informationen sammeln, aktualisieren und verbreiten ( Gründung eines internationalen Kalenders der Zauberkunstereignisse)

- unserem FISM-Präsidenten in seiner täglichen Arbeit unterstützen.

Mir liege es sehr zu Herzen, nicht nur mit allen Mitgliedern vom Board der FISM zu arbeiten, sondern mit Ihnen allen.

Weil ich denke, dass die Umstände des Ausübens unserer Zauberkunst in jedem Land unterschiedlich sind. Und nicht zuletzt weil ich der Meinung bin, dass der Erfolg und die Verwirklichung eigener Ideen vor allem das Ergebnis einer Teamarbeit sind.

Ich versichere Ihnen, dass, wenn Sie mir ihr Vertrauen schenken, ich mich dazu verpflichte, aktiv an der Weiterentwicklung der FISM zu arbeiten, indem ich, im Hinblick auf ihre Qualität und ihr Erbe, sowohl ihre eigenen Ideen als auch die von der Zauberkunst verteidigen werde.

Dieses Zuhören und diese Zusammenarbeit erscheinen mir unentbehrliche Bedingungen für das Weiterleben der FISM, um die Erwartungen der heutigen und zukünftigen Mitglieder im vollem Maß zu erfüllen. Diese Bedingungen werden nicht nur einer strategischeren Auseinandersetzung mit der Weiterentwicklung unserer Kunst sehr vom Nutzen sein, sondern auch alldem, was die FISM für ihre Mitglider und die Zauberkunst leisten kann.

¡Siempre he pensado que en la vida es necesario ser protagonista de su futuro!

Dentro de unos meses, debereis elegir a los Vicepresidentes del FISM.

He estado con usted durante mucho tiempo, y siempre con la misma convicción de que deseo continuar con mi inversión y comprometerme aún más con el FISM solicitando formalmente la Vicepresidencia.

Esta es una decisión importante que entendí todo el significado y que quería tomar en perfecto acuerdo con mi esposa Corinne.

Estoy seguro de que pronto recibiréis muchas (demasiadas) páginas para leer, así que en lugar de escribir un texto largo con una profusión de detalles, prefiero ser más conciso al darle especialmente mi visión general del FISM .

Hace unos días envié mi hoja de vida que acredita mi experiencia en muchas áreas, incluida la organización y la gestión. Deseo poner este potencial al servicio del desarrollo del FISM respetando las reglas y todos los actores de esta última.

Soy una persona abierta con la capacidad de llevar a cabo las misiones que me serán confiadas.

Considero que los objetivos del FISM son esencialmente: EL ENTRENAMIENTO de los magos, su INFORMACIÓN, su EDUCACIÓN, la PROMOCIÓN y la DEFENSA DEL ARTE MÁGICO y su PATRIMONIO.

El FISM debe ser capaz de reunir a todos aquellos que comparten la misma pasión por la Magia al transmitirles el famoso sentimiento de pertenencia, el espíritu de excelencia, el respeto de las reglas para una buena práctica de nuestro Arte.

El FISM debe ser un lugar de reuniones, intercambios, debates, pero también un lugar de amistad y convivencia. Necesita más que nunca el apoyo de todos aquellos que lo aman, de todos aquellos que aman a la Magia, porque como les dije, para contar mañana, debe avanzar, y para esto la movilización de todas las energías será necesario.

Debemos darle al FISM una mayor visibilidad para el público en general. Para ello, debe estar más presente en los medios (TV, periódicos, Facebook, Tweeter ...), difundiendo y promoviendo ampliamente los Campeonatos Europeos del Mundo, nuestros competidores y nuestros campeones mundiales FISM.

Es por eso que quiero trabajar sobre :

- La creación de Equipos Nacionales de Magia (en el modelo de los Equipos Franceses de Magia de escena y de close-up de la FFAP) ofreciendo a sus miembros para trabajar con Maestros de entrenamiento especializado en diferentes campos (Teatro, danza, mimo, sonido y luz, puesta en escena, actores, autores, directores, decoradores, maquilladores, técnicos...).

- El proceso de selección en cada país de candidatos para el FISM

- La protección de la propiedad intelectual.

- Las Relaciones con la televisión

- Ayudar a los presidentes / delegados para que sean verdaderos embajadores del FISM

- Crear criterios de acreditación y etiquetado FISM para espectáculos y eventos de magia internacional, incluidas reglas específicas para el uso del logotipo de FISM.

- Continuar formando jueces internacionales FISM.

- Crear una revista FISM en PDF (disponible en el sitio web FISM),

- Recopilar, actualizar y difundir información internacional (creación de un calendario internacional de eventos mágicos ...)

- Asistir a nuestro Presidente FISM a diario en su misión

Haré todo lo posible para trabajar en colaboración y consulta no solo con los demás miembros de la Junta de FISM, sino también con todos ustedes.

Porque el ambiente mágico y las condiciones de ejercicio de nuestro Arte son diferentes en cada país y porque creo que incluso cuando uno tiene ideas, el éxito es el fruto del trabajo en equipo.

Confíe en que si me deis su confianza, me comprometo a trabajar activamente para promover el FISM tanto defendiendo sus propios valores como defendiendo los de la magia, especialmente a través de su calidad y patrimonio. .

Esta escucha y esta colaboración me parecen esenciales para el buen funcionamiento del FISM a fin de satisfacer lo más posible las quejas de cada uno de sus miembros y futuros miembros. Motivation letter for the position of International Vice President General Affairs of FISM

Ever since its inception in 1948 (when FISM was founded by - among others - the NMU), the FISM name has developed into an extremely strong brand of magic and a magic franchise generally recognized all over the world. It is not without reason that within the international magic community the FISM competition is referred to as: "The Olympic Games of Magic".

My close involvement with FISM over the years has been a great privilige and a rich source of inspiration. To cite just a few examples: jury member, up-dating of contest rules, review of hosting agreement, fending of a legal claim and general advisory work to the BoD. Additionally, I have been or am a member of various magic clubs in North & South America and in The Netherlands.

I trust that my international business and financial experience, together with my general management skills and my legal backround plus my many years of experience in a wide variety of functions within the magic community, have amply groomed me for the vacancy of IVP General Affairs.

My multi-lingual (written and spoken) communication skills are excellent and my intercultural skills are highly regarded by people that worked closely with me.

Goals that I would like to achieve for FISM are - to name just a few- :

 the further advancement and expansion of the Art of Magic in the broadest sense possible  preservation and further expansion of the FISM brand  align FISM with the trends in other fields of art, television and/or internet  where and when necessary: up-dating the FISM organisation, its bylaws and/or its contest rules to stay in tune with the rapid developments within the entertainment industry  further expansion of the FISM organisation by actively solliciting magic clubs all over the world - that are not yet affiliated with FISM - to join us  to conclude: encouraging people to do the FISM things at the right time in the FISM way

It would be a great privilige and a tremendous honour if you - Presidents / Delegates - would consider me for this challenging and important position.

Why me?

Dear Madam, dear Sir,

A few days ago I sent my applicaton to become a member of the FISM Board (Vice-President) to international FISM President Domenico Dante. Today I am writing to explain my intentions, because there will be no time in Busan for explanations.

My main goal is to promote the Art of Magic to the PUBLIC.

I fully appreciate everything that FISM has accomplished to this day. There is no question that this is very im- portant work that benefits magic. But there has never been a position specifically for public relations work. Such work is essential to promote the art of magic to the public, and it is one for which I am fully qualified.

My diploma as a commercial artist prepared me for this kind of work. I put it to use during the first ten years of my life as a professional magician, during which I collected every press article in which my name was men- tioned. This amounts to ten thick press books.

I have dedicated much of my life to promoting the art of Magic to the public. I have been organizing magic theatre festivals in my country for 12 years. For almost 30 years, I have been organizing exhibitions about the history of magic in major museums in Germany – and even one big exhibition at a large museum for FISM in The Hague in 2003. Since 2012, I have been promoting the art of magic in my art gallery in Ham- burg, which is open to the public every week. There is more, as you will see in my CV.

Now I would like to do the same for FISM. FISM means a lot to me. I have attended every FISM convention You will find me to be: since 1973 (I even won 1st prize in Comedy Magic in 1976), and would like nothing better than to promote it and make it better known to the general public. It is a pity that, in the almost 80 years since FISM started, it • Highly reliable: remains completely unknown in the “real” world. Pourquoi moi?

Madame la Présidente, Monsieur le Président,

Il y a quelques jours, j’ai envoyé à Monsieur Domenico Dante, President de la FISM, ma candidature pour occuper le poste de Vice President de la FISM A présent j’aimerais bien vous expliquer ma décision, car il n’aura pas assez de temps pour que je me présente personellement à vous avant l’élection à Busan. Je n’ai qu’une seule seule idée en tête: Promouvoir l’art de la magie auprès du grand public.

J’estime et j’apprécie beaucoup le travail des organisateurs de la FISM depuis ses débuts en 1949. l est appréciable que la FISM a eu un souci des structures claires, que sont suivi par toutes les association de magie du monde entier. Un travail important et nécessaire. Sans aucun doute.

Mais la perception auprès de la population n’a été guère pris en compte. Il manquait en permanence un travail de relations-publiques. Et ce travail est nécessaire pour que tous les gens sont conscients de l’art de la magie dans le monde.

Je suis un designer-dessinateur professionnel avec des études en marketing. C’est pour- quoi je pense que je suis apte pour travailler dans cette domaine. Pour vous convaincre je peux vous soumettre une dizaine des press-books que j’ai édité à la fin de chaque année pour documenter où et quand mon nom a été cité dans la Presse.

Je ne peux garantir un succès à 100 %, mais je vous assure que cela est ma seule et uni- que motivation pour une collaboration au conseil d’administration de la FISM.

Pendant les dernières 12 ans j’avais organisé chaque année des festivals de magie pour un public dit profane. Pendant 30 années, et cela presque annuellement, j’ai organisé des expositions sur l’his- toire de la magie, entre autres aussi pour la FISM à La Haye en 2003 au célèbre Musée- Muson. Depuis 2012 je présente la magie dans ma galerie à Hambourg et cela sur un rythme hebdomadaire.

Le seul but de mon travail au conseil d’administration de la FISM serait d’améliorer l’image de la magie auprès du grand public.

Pour terminer j’aimerais bien mentionner que depuis 1973 j’ai visité tous les congrès de la FISM (en 1976 j’ai même gagné le Premier Prix en magie comique)

Il est bien entendu que la magie a changé, mais pas à cause de la FISM. Je suis ... David Copperfield, Penn & Teller, Paul Daniels, Harry Blackstone (Jr.) et quelques autres ont beaucoup contribué sur l’art de la magie, mais ils n’avaient rien à faire avec la FISM. • Très fiable N’est il pas triste que depuis 80 ans le public ne connait rien sur la FISM? Ce que je dis, je le fais sans faute – et J’en suis conscient que la FISM a vu le jour grâce aux amateurs et quelques clubs d’ama- sans délai (je suis toujours le premier à teurs. Hace unos días envié mi solicitud para ocupar el puesto de vicepresidente de la FISM (Fé- dération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques) al presidente internacional de la FISM, Do- menico Dante. Hoy me gustaría explicarles mi proyecto, ya que antes de la elección en Busan no hubo tiempo de que me presentara ante ustedes.

Tengo un único deseo: quiero hacer que el ARTE de la magia sea conocido por el público en general.

Admiro todo el trabajo previo de los organizadores de la FISM desde sus inicios en 1949. Es bueno que la FISM haya proporcionado estructuras claras que puedan ser seguidas por todas las asociaciones de magia del mundo. Un trabajo realmente importante y necesario. De esto no hay duda. Pero en todo este trabajo apenas se ha considerado la percepción del público en general. Durante todo este tiempo ha faltado un trabajo de relaciones públicas consecuente. Sin embargo, este trabajo es necesario para que el arte de la magia también sea percibido por todas las personas. He cursado estudios de diseño con formación en marketing. Por ello, creo que tengo el perfil ideal para este tema. Para acreditarlo puedo presentar diez extensos libros de recortes de prensa donde he recopilado, durante los pri- meros 10 años de mi carrera profesional — al final de cada año — y documentar así dónde ha aparecido mi nombre en la prensa. Me gustaría y puedo hacer algo similar para la FISM. No puedo garantizarles que vaya a ser un éxito al cien por cien, pero puedo prometerles que esta es mi única motivación para unirme a la directiva de la FISM.

Durante los últimos 12 años he organizado festivales anuales de magia teatral para el pú- blico «normal» en teatros de renombre. Durante más de 30 años, también he presentado exhibiciones sobre la historia de la magia casi todos los años en grandes museos y gale- rías. Sehr geehrte Präsidentin, sehr geehrter Präsident,

Vor wenigen Tagen habe ich meine Bewerbung für die Position zum FISM-Vize-Präsidenten an den internationalen FISM-Präsidenten Domenico Dante geschickt.

Heute möchte ich Ihnen meine Absicht dazu erklären, da es vor der Wahl in Busan keine Zeit geben wird, um mich Ihnen näher vorzustellen.

Ich habe nur ein einziges Anliegen: Ich möchte die KUNST des Zauberns in der breiten Öffentlichkeit bekannter machen.

Ich bewundere alle bisherige Arbeit der FISM-Organisatoren seit den Anfängen im Jahre 1949. Es ist gut, dass FISM für klare Strukturen gesorgt hat, die von allen Zaubervereinen auf der Welt befolgt werden können. Eine wirklich wichtige und notwendige Arbeit. Daran besteht kein Zweifel. Lediglich die Warhnehmung in der Öffentlichkeit wurde bei all dieser Arbeit kaum berücksichtigt. Es fehlte stets eine konsequente PR-Arbeit. Diese ist aber not- wendig, damit die Kunst des Zauberns auch von allen Menschen wahrgenommen werden kann. Ich bin studierter Designer mit einer Ausbildung in Marketing. Von daher glaube ich, dass ich gerade für diesen Bereich besonders gut geeignet bin. Als Beleg kann ich 10 um- fangreiche Pressebücher vorlegen, die ich in den ersten 10 Jahren für meinen Beruf am Ende eines jeden Jahres zusammengestellt habe, um zu dokumentieren, wo überall mein Name in der Presse aufgetaucht ist. Ähnliches möchte und kann ich auch für FISM tun. Ich kann Ihnen keinen 100%igen Erfolg garantieren, aber ich kann Ihnen versprechen, das dies meine einzige Motivation für die Mitarbeit im Vorstand der FISM ist.

In den letzten 12 Jahren habe ich jährliche Theater-Zauberfestivals für das „normale“ Pu- blikum in renommierten Theatern organsiert. Über 30 Jahre lang habe ich ebenfalls fast jährlich in großen Museen und Galerien Ausstellungen zur Geschichte der Zauberkunst prä- sentiert. Unter anderem auch zum FISM-Kongress in Den Haag, 2003, im bekannten Muson-Museum. Seit 2012 präsentiere ich wöchentlich Zauberkunst in meiner Galerie in Hamburg für das allgemeine Publikum. Weitere Aktivitäten können Sie meiner Biografie entnehmen.

Mir geht es also einzig und allein bei der Mitarbeit im FISM-Vorstand darum, das Ansehen der Zauberkunst in der Öffentlichkeit zu verbessern. Ich bin ... Abschließend lassen Sie mich erwähnen, dass ich seit 1973 alle FISM-Kongresse besucht habe (1976 habe ich den 1. Preis in Comedy gewonnen). Dennoch behaupte ich, dass sich • Absolut zuverlässlich für die Kunst des Zauberns nichts geändert hat – zumindest nicht in der Öffentlichkeit. Ist es nicht traurig, dass seit der die Übersetzung für FISM-Briefe abgibt. rund 80 Jahren die Öffentlichkeit so gut wie nichts von FISM weiß? Mir ist schon bewusst, Meine Zeitschrift erscheint seit 18 Jahren dass FISM von ein paar Amateurvereinen von Amateuren ins Leben gerufen worden ist. Aber inzwischen hat sich das Leben verändert und damit auch die Zauberkunst. Zauber- immer pünktlich – ohne Ausnahem. kunst ist immer mehr ein wichtiger Bestandteil unserer Kultur geworden. FISM sollte ihr Vertreter in der Öffentlichkeit sein. • Absolut professionell Bitte glauben Sie mir, dass ich all meine Kraft für FISM einsetzen werde, um diese wunder- Ich arbeite auf einem hohen professionellen Ni- bare Kunst zu unterstützen wo ich nur kann. To me, FISM is too big an organizaon. I thought it would be difficult for me, from Japan, to make any significant contribuon to the FISM management. When I started parcipang in various FISM projects (FISM ASIA, ACM etc.), I realized that our FISM ASIA work was really done for the Benefit of Our Future! We are trying to elevate the status of magic, and we are doing it for the whole magic world (not just for Asia or any parcular area). I was moved by our cause, and decided to take a more acve role by running for the Vice Presidency this me. When comparing with the development of music/dance/sports, our progress of development in the magic world has not been huge. Although FISM has been working hard to improve the standard of magic in many areas (for example, FISM Compeon Compliance System “CCS” is designed to regulate regional tournaments; FISM Jury Qualificaon System “JQS” could elevate the standard of contest judges), yet there is sll a lot to do. By becoming a deputy to our FISM President, I believe I could take a more acve role in promong the status and standard of Magic. Candidate for FISM Vice president Should you choose Satoru Yamamoto to be your next Vice President ? I think you should really ask yourself, “What kind of Execuves would be best for FISM ?” Should I choose a Good Friend ? Should I vote for a Famous Person or a person experienced as a FISM Judge ? Should “Good Friend” or “Famous” or “Judge of FISM” be our major selecon criteria for a Vice President ? Friendship is important but it is a personal relaonship. Famous people are usually rather busy. It may be difficult for them to focus on management. I believe that “Good Friend” or “Famous” or “Experienced as a FISM Judge” are not the essenal qualies of a capable Vice President. To be a capable Vice President, he/she should be a hardworking person. He/she must have a commitment to work for our future. Please think carefully about whom you and FISM need ?
