Assistant Coach One of college basketball’s most respected fi gures, Silvey Dominguez begins his second season at Montana State in 2018-19 and his fi rst as an assistant coach. He joined Brian Fish’s staff as Director of Basketball Operations in 2017-18 before transitioning to assistant coach this season. Dominguez spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Washington State (2014-17), and has coached at two other current Pac 12 schools (Utah under Rick Majerus, and USC) and fi ve different Mountain West schools. A native of Grants, New Mexico and 1977 UNM graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Spanish, Dominguez began his coaching career at Western New Mexico. He coached there from 1979-84, earning his MS in Business Administration in 1981, and coached at Southern Colorado from 1984-86.

Luke Fennelly, Assistant Coach Years at MSU: 6th Alma Mater/Yr: Oregon/2012 2017- Assistant Coach Montana State 2014-17 Operations Director Montana State 2013-14 Graduate Assistant Montana State 2010-13 Assistant Coach Lane CC Luke Fennelly is in his sixth season at Montana State, his second as a full-time assistant. The Montana native spent his fi rst two seasons as a grad assistant before rising to operations director and then assistant. Fennelly earned degrees at Oregon (BS, Sports Business, 2012, minor in economics) and Montana State (Master’s in Health and Human Performance with an emphasis in Coaching and Sport Science) after beginning his coaching career at Lane Community College in 2010. He rose to the top assistant position there in 2012-13 for a 22- 10 team that earned a No. 1 ranking in the NWAACC and a berth in the league tournament for the fi rst time in fi ve seasons. He was a two-time all-conference basketball player at Whitefi sh High, also earning all-state honors in football as a senior. His Bulldogs team won the 2007 Class A Northwest Conference title.
