THE PROGRAM
Come experience soccer in Brazil, home of the 2014 FIFA World Cup! This fully inclusive program is available to youth clubs and university teams and coaches, and offers valuable insight into the youth development approach of Brazil's FLUMINENSE FC, one of the world's most successful academies.
Having won 4 National titles and been runners-up for a Copa Libertadores and a South America Cup, FLUMINENSE FC is among the true powerhouses of Brazilian soccer. The club also holds the most Rio State Champions titles. FLUMINENSE FC is known for its excellent youth academy in Rio de Janeiro, which has shaped many professional players such as Marcelo, Rafael, and Fabio da Silva.
While in Brazil, you will also be able to experience the city of Sao Paulo and to explore our relationship with some of the top clubs in town like Sao Paulo FC, Corinthians, and Palmeiras. You will also be hosted in one of the FIFA World Cup training facilities, Spa Sport Itú, and experience beach soccer and the famous 7-a- side style of play.

Vale das Laranjeiras Training Center, Fluminense's academy, is FLUMINENSE TRAINING ACADEMY known for its excellent youth development program, and stands out for its sheer number of titles won in the base divisions. Players aged 9-20 receive not only physical, tactical, and technical training, but also medical and psychological treatment, social monitoring, education, and balanced nutrition.
The top modern training complex includes facilities such as work-out rooms, a futsal court, a swimming pool, computer rooms, a physiotheraphy department, 6 outdoor fields, and 1 main stadium with a capacity of 2,000 people.
The Fluminense Academy is not only comprised of a residence for the young players, but also includes a 3 star hotel that is used as the team's concentration hotel before games.
