Cherbourg-La Manche CHERBOURG-LA MANCHE CHALLENGER CHERBOURG-LA MANCHE 2020 Le Challenger CHERBOURG II- LA MANCHE est un tournoi de tennis, appelé désormais ATP CHALLENGER 80, réservé à des joueurs classés environ entre la 60e et la 180e places mondiales. La liste des joueurs sera communiquée par l’ATP le mardi 21 janvier 2020. Un palmarès de haut niveau Ce tournoi est un tremplin pour les jeunes et parfois un retour pour des anciens revenant de blessure ou en manque de confiance. Nous avons eu le plaisir d’accueillir à Cherbourg-en-Cotentin des joueurs comme Rafael Nadal, Gael Monfils, Novak Djokovic, Richard Gasquet, Jo Wilfried Tsonga, Gregor Dimitrov, Benoit Paire, Gilles Simon, Maximilien Marterer, Norbert Gombos, plusieurs fois Arnaud Clement, Nicolas Mahut et Kenny De Schepper. Le tenant du titre est le jeune français Hugo Humbert avec comme finaliste le belge Steve Darcis. Entrainements Samedi 8 février, dès 12h au complexe sportif Chantereyne de Cherbourg-Octeville, au complexe Bagatelle de Tourlaville et au tennis club de La Glacerie. Qualifications de 4 joueurs Le dimanche 9 février, au complexe sportif Chantereyne et au complexe Bagatelle. Tableau final de 48 joueurs Du lundi 10 février au dimanche 16 février, au complexe sportif Chantereyne et au Complexe Bagatelle. Entrainements au complexe à la Saillanderie de la Glacerie. Les épreuves qualificatives seront organisées le samedi 18 janvier au TC La Glacerie à 13h30, le samedi 25 janvier à 13h30 au TC Urville-Nacqueville et au TC Honfleur, le dimanche 26 janvier à 13h30 au TC Tourlaville et le samedi 1er février à 14h30 au MTC Saint-Lô.
