Media Information HEAD COACH -- Mark Mangino (Youngstown State, 1987) is in his sixth season at Kansas and sixth overall as a collegiate head coach. In his first five years Mangino has guided the Monday Jayhawks to three bowl-eligible seasons. During his tenure at KU the Jayhawks played in two bowl games * Big 12 Teleconference - 10 a.m. (2003 and 2005) in a three-year span for the second time in school history (other was 1973-75). 2007 Big 12 Standings KU-NU LAST YEAR -- Adam Barmann threw for 405 yards while Jon Cornish ran for 145, but it was not enough as a furious Jayhawks rally fell short against 21st-ranked Nebraska as Kansas fell 39-32 in North Big 12 Overall overtime in Lincoln, Neb. on Sept. 30, 2006.
