Ent. Zool. Vol. 11, No. 1, January 2016___________ Scope: Munis Entomology & Zoology publishes a wide variety of papers on all aspects of Entomology and Zoology from all of the world, including mainly studies on systematics, taxonomy, nomenclature, fauna, biogeography, biodiversity, ecology, morphology, behavior, conservation, paleobiology and other aspects are appropriate topics for papers submitted to Munis Entomology & Zoology. Submission of Manuscripts: Works published or under consideration elsewhere (including on the internet) will not be accepted. At first submission, one double spaced hard copy (text and tables) with figures (may not be original) must be sent to the Editors, Dr. Hüseyin Özdikmen for publication in MEZ. All manuscripts should be submitted as Word file or PDF file in an e-mail attachment. If electronic submission is not possible due to limitations of electronic space at the sending or receiving ends, unavailability of e-mail, etc., we will accept “hard” versions, in triplicate, accompanied by an electronic version stored in a floppy disk, a CD-ROM. Review Process: When submitting manuscripts, all authors provides the name, of at least three qualified experts (they also provide their address, subject fields and e-mails). Then, the editors send to experts to review the papers. The review process should normally be completed within 45-60 days. After reviewing papers by reviwers: Rejected papers are discarded. For accepted papers, authors are asked to modify their papers according to suggestions of the reviewers and editors. -

Güneyi Suriye toprakları ile çevrilidir. Bağları ve zeytinlikleri ile olduğu kadar tahıl ambarı ovalarıyla da zengin ve bereketli bir yerleşim merkezidir. Anadolu, Mezopotamya, Kuzey Suriye ve Mısır gibi en eski uygarlık merkezleri arasında yer alan Kilis, uzun bir dönem ticari yönden hareketli, farklı din ve kültürlerin bir arada yaşadığı merkez konumu ile varlığını sürdürmüştür. Komşu ülkeden gelen çay, baharat gibi Arap tatları, rengarenk kumaşlar, elektronik malzemeler, envai çeşit eşyalar ile sınır alışverişinin renklendirdiği Kilis, Halep’ten KİLİS yurdumuza giriş yapan ziyaretçilerine sıcacık konukseverliği ile kucak açmaktadır. The City of Culture Kilis, the City of History and Culture, is located in the South-eastern Region of Turkey, in the southwest of the Gaziantep plateau and at the foot of Acar Mountain. To the south of the city lies the Syrian border. It is a rich and productive city, not only with its vineyards and olive groves but also with fertile plains full of crop fields. Located in the midst of the oldest centres of civilizations such as Anatolia, Mesopotamia, Northern Syria and Egypt, Kilis has for a long time assumed a central position as a cosmopolitan city with inhabitants from different religions and cultures, and an active commercial life. -

A\unediand Hisiskendername Tacu'd-dIn ibrahIm bin lju;lr, better known by his pen name AJ.tmedI, is the greatest poet of fourteenth century Turkish divan literature. Even though his place and date of birth are not certain, since some historical sources mention that he died in 815/1412, scholars generally have accepted his date of birth as approximately 735/1334 or 736/1335.1 The information from historical sources about AJ.tmedrs place of birth is also disputable. According to some accounts, AJ.tmedi is from SIvas, and according to others, from Germiyan or Amasya.2 The known historical sources do not provide us with satisfactory information about his education. -

MAZLUMDER WOMEN STUDIES GROUP THE REPORT ON SYRIAN WOMAN REFUGEES LIVING OUT OF THE CAMPS Human is the shelter of human… THE REPORT ON SYRIAN WOMAN REFUGEES LIVING OUT OF THE CAMPS PREFACE Analyzing the ‘Syrian Uprising,’ an armed conflict-taking place in Syria; the unrest began in the early Spring 2011 within in the context of Arab Spring protests, following nationwide protests against President Bashar-al Assad’s government. The Syrian conflict has produced the most compelling humanitarian challenge of the 21st century. The Syrian Civil War, have left more than three and half million refugees who have fled to neighboring countries, with Turkey hosting the largest number of Syrian refugees, with approximately more than 4 million people eluding from the chaotic atmosphere. The relentless on-going battle for the past three years have compelled the Syrians in leaving their lands with statistics highlighting that nearly 2.5 million people have found asylum in neighboring countries.
