A roundtrip using Mears Shuttle is also $35 per adult and $23 for children. *The only way that the shuttles will end up being cheaper than a Lyft is if you are traveling solo. 8:00 PM - Eastern Time Dinner at Toothsome Chocolate Factory Page 5 of 9 Day 2: Islands of Adventure Grab a doughnut and coffee from VooDoo Doughnuts in CityWalk Line up at the turnstiles around 60 minutes before the park officially opens Head straight to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Hogsmeade Hagrid's Magical Motorbike Adventures* Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey* Skull Island: Reign of Kong* The Incredible Hulk Coaster* The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man* Doctor Doom’s Fearfall* Lunch Option #1: Have a quick lunch at Three Broomsticks. I suggest the Beef Pasties! The puff pastries filled with savory beef and veggies are so good. This is also a good opportunity to try the famous Butterbeer! Lunch Option #2: Have a nice sit-down meal at Mythos. This restaurant is highly recommended by Universal lovers. I had a really great Gnocchi Bolognese pasta here. Mythos is also one of the best places to get a fresh latte in the parks. Poseidon’s Fury Visit the Mystic Fountain Interactive entertainment that is continual throughout the day. You can stop by the fountain at any time. Jurassic Park River Adventures* (Wet Ride) You will get *soaked* on the wet rides! Wear a poncho or bring a change of clothes. There’s nothing like crispy onion strings and potato wedges to load up your carb intake! See a Live Show You have a few options here and you might be able to squeeze in more than one show depending on your timing. Universal’s Horror Make-Up Show Animal Actors on Location! Fear Factor Live Fast & Furious - Supercharged* Transformers: The Ride-3D* Shrek 4-D E.T. Adventure Page 8 of 9 The Simpsons Ride* Men in Black Alien Attack* Catch Universal’s Daytime Parade There are three main parades that perform at Universal and they change depending on the season. The parade times vary greatly between the three of them too. Also plan your day around the updated times schedule! Universal’s Superstar Parade - Performs any time it’s not Mardi Gras or the holiday season. Universal’s Mardi Gras - Performs during the Mardi Gras celebration typically between early February to early April. Universal’s Holiday Parade Featuring Macy’s - Performs during the holiday season typically between mid-November to early January. Explore the Rest of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Diagon Alley 1. Before heading into Diagon Alley, stop by the Knight Bus. The Shrunken Head who’s in charge of the bus is interactive and hilarious! 2. Watch the story of The Tales of Beedle the Bard performed by master puppeteers or enjoy the live music of Celestina Warbeck and The Banshees. The schedule for each show varies greatly. Check the times guide to be sure! Beedle the Bard usually starts around 10:30 and performs every hour until 4:00 PM. Celestina performs anywhere between 10:30 AM - 8:30 PM. 3. Take some time to wander through the themed shops like Magical Menagerie, Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, and Sugarplum’s for a sweet treat! 4. Grab an ice cream from Florean Fortescue's Ice-Cream Parlour. There are a lot of unique tastes to try like Butterbeer, Earl Grey and Lavender, and Ron Weasley’s favorite flavor: Sticky Toffee Pudding. 5. Don’t forget to check out Knockturn Alley! It’s one of the most uniquely themed areas in the park. It’s based on the creepy alleyway where seedy exchanges take place in the book. There’s a lot of interactive and hidden magic here too. 6. Exchange your muggle money for wizard bank notes at Gringotts Money Exchange. You can use the bank notes for purchases inside of Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade. It’s a fun way to immerse yourself into the story of Harry Potter! Any cash leftover can be exchanged back to U.S. currency at Guest Services. The Goblin manning the bank is worth visiting even if you don’t want to make the exchange.
