About the Contributors 301 About the Contributors Pradeep Tomar is working as faculty member in the School of Information and Communication Technology, Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, INDIA since 2009. Dr. Tomar earned Ph.D. from Department of Computer Science & Applications, M. D. University, Rohtak, Haryana, INDIA. Before joining Gautam Buddha University he worked as Software Engineer in a multi-national company, Noida and lecturer in M. D. University, Rohtak, Haryana and Kurukshetra Univer- sity Kurukshetra, Haryana. Dr. Tomar has good teaching, research and software development experience as well as vast administrative experience at university level on various posts like research coordinator, examination coordinator, admission coordinator, programme coordinator, time table coordinators, proctor and hostel warden. Presently he is also working as a Treasurer in CSI, Noida Chapter. Dr. Tomar is also a member of IEEE, IEEE Computer Society, Computer Society of India (CSI), Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA), International Association of Computer Science and Informa- tion Technology (IACSIT) and International Association of Engineering (IAENG). He served as a reviewer of journals and conferences and worked as advisory board members in national and international conferences. Dr. Tomar has qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturership in Computer Applications in 2003, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) in 2008, SUN Certified JAVA Programmer (SCJP) for the JAVA platform, standard edition 5.0 in 2008 and qualified the IBM Certified Database Associate - DB2 9 Fundamentals in 2010. Two books “Teaching of Mathematics” and “Communication and Information Technology” at national levels have been authored by Dr. Tomar. Dr. Tomar has been awarded with Bharat Jyoti Award by India International Friendship Society in the field of Technology in 2012. He has been awarded for the Best Computer Faculty award by Govt. of Pon- dicherry and ASDF society. His biography is published in Who’s Who Reference Asia, Volume II. Several technical sessions in national and international conferences had been chaired by Dr. Tomar and he delivered expert talks in FDP, workshops, national and international conferences. Three conferences have been organized by About the Contributors Dr. Tomar: one national conference with COMMUNE group and two international conferences, in which one international ICIAICT 2012 was organized with CSI, Noida Chapter and second international conference 2012 EPPICTM was organized in collaboration with MTMI, USA, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, USA and Frostburg State University, USA at School of Information and Communica- tion Technology, Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, INDIA. Apart from teaching, researches in the areas of software engineering are being guided by Dr. Tomar. He has also contributed more than 65 papers/articles in national/international journals and conferences. His major current research interest is in Component-Based Software Engineering (CBSE) and IoT. Gurjit Kaur, a bright scholar, gold medalist throughout including B.Tech and M.Tech and president awardee has spent over 13 years of her academic career to- wards research and teaching in the field of Electronics and Communication. She is having distinction of receiving a Gold medal by former President of India Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam for being overall topper of the Punjab Technical University, Jaland- har by securing 82% marks. She has been a topper throughout her academic career. She earned her Ph.D. degree from Panjab University, Chandigarh in 2010 and her M. Tech from PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh in 2003 with distinction. Presently Dr Kaur is working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Information and Communication Technology, Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, India. Her research interests include Optical CDMA, Wireless Communication system, high-speed interconnect and IOT. Her name has been listed in Marquis Who’s Who in Science and Technology, USA. She has published more than 70 papers in journals and conferences. She has authored one book on Optical Communication, and one book chapter on WiMax of Florida Atlantic University, published by CRC Press. * * * Sourav Banerjee is pursuing PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Kalyani. He completed M.Tech in Computer Sc. & Engg in the year 2006 from University of Kalyani. He is presently working as an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Computer Sc & Engg at Kalyani Government Engineering College. He is a member of IEEE, ACM, MIR Lab, IAENG. Jai Prakash Bhati is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering and Technology, Noida Interna- tional University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India since August 2013. He has earned his master’s degree, M.Tech. (Specialization in Intelligent Systems and Robotics) from School of Information and Communication Technology, Gautam 302 About the Contributors Buddha University, Greater Noida, U.P., India. Prior to his masters he has worked in various domains like ERP, technical support and software development around four years. Also he has worked as a guest faculty in the School of Information and Communication Technology, Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, U.P., In- dia Apart from teaching experience he has administrative experience at university level on various posts like examination coordinator, registration coordinator, course coordinator, University Tech Fest coordinator, training and placement coordinator, sports event coordinator, academic tour coordinator. Mr. Bhati has organized and coordinate many workshops, seminars and quiz competitions in university. He has been member of organizing committee for national and international conferences at university level. Mr. Bhati has also contributed 03 papers in national/international journals and conferences. He is serving as reviewer for various national and inter- national journals. His areas of interest are artificial intelligence, expert systems, soft computing, artificial neural network, Big Data, Cloud and DBMS. Bala Chandra Mohan works in SCOPE school in VIT university Vellore. Completed PhD from Anna University. published research paper in scopus indexed journals with very good citations. Akash Chowdhury has pursued the Bachelor of Technology Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Institute of Science and Technology, India (2013- 2017). He is currently pursuing the Master of Technology Degree in Distributed And Mobile Computing from Jadavpur University. He is the author of various book chapters and research articles. His present research interests include Cloud Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud Robotics, Distributed Systems, Mobile Computing and Communications and Mobile Cloud Computing. Govind P. Gupta received his PhD degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India, in 2014. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology at National Institute of Technology, Raipur, India. His current research interests include Integration of Internet of Things (IoT) with Cloud Computing, Security issues with IoT, Software-defined Networking, Wireless Sen- sor Networks, and Big Data Processing. He is a professional member of the ACM, IEEE and CSI. Swati Jaiswal is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Sinhgad Technical Education Society, Lonavala. She has completed her M.Tech in 2012 and currently pursuing her Ph.D from VIT Vellore. She is presently Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Rajalakshmi Engineering College, affiliated to Anna University Chennai. Saravanan K. is working as an Assistant professor, Department of Computer Sci- ence & Engineering at Anna University, Regional Campus, Tirunelveli.
