    MARS 2011 numéro 12 Bulletin d’informations Municipales LE MOT DU MAIRE La Grange Rouge le 23 mars 2011 Les deux photos illustrant ce texte reflètent parfaitement l’événement majeur pour notre commune en ce début d’année 2011 : Il s’agit évidemment de l’acquisition par donation de « la Grange Rouge ». Ce bâtiment avait été acquis à la fin des années 1980 par Jean-Pierre GIRAUDOUX, transformé en théâtre sous le nom de « théâtre des Jean et des Pierre » avant d’être donné à la ville de Brive qui devait l’entretenir et l’utiliser avec une vocation exclusivement théâtrale. Depuis les dernières représentations au cours de l’été 1996, cette superbe bâtisse était à l’abandon et seuls quelques travaux sommaires sur la toiture l’ont maintenue hors d’eau. Depuis longtemps, des portes et des fenêtres ont été détériorées permettant à des « visiteurs occasionnels» d’y pénétrer. A plusieurs reprises, au cours du mandat précédent, avec les services juridiques de la ville de Brive, nous avons essayé de faire évoluer ce dossier, sans aucun succès. Nous avons appris par la suite qu’un long et compliqué procès opposait les héritiers de sang de la famille GIRAUDOUX à la Fondation de France, légataire universelle des biens de Jean et Jean-Pierre GIRAUDOUX. Ce procès a été définitivement gagné par la Fondation de France en juillet 2008. Dans le courant de l’année 2009, très discrètement, j’ai repris contact avec la Fondation de France et en particulier avec Monsieur Laurent MAZEYRIE. Un climat de confiance s’est établi entre nous alors que nous n’échangions que par téléphone ou par courriel.
